  1. Hi all, I can share my contractor's contact if anyone need to compare quote. I believe their quotes are very reasonable & very practical in suggesting ideas. Those things not necessary to do, she tell u don't do to save money, which I m very impressed. However, she may be very busy at times, got to sms her if she did not pick up the phone. Pm me if anyone is interested.
  2. My contractor told me normally they have 2 companies, one with gst for bigger projects, one without gst so they can pass on the savings to their clients. Hana, if u wan, I can recommend my contractor to u to compare as I find her price very reasonable and nice designs too...
  3. I totally agree with Dialow. When I did my place 2 years back with my contractor, I realised she is more receptive to my ideas which I think ids may be more rigid. As she also provide me with some drawings after our discussion, it makes my decision making much easier. Recently my friend got her to quote. price quite reasonable. pm me if you want her contact for comparison.
  4. Hi sorry for the silly question... but is there any big difference between id & contractor? The contractor I engaged 2 years back also can design. Most of their works are done in-house. A lot of my friends and relatives who came over also like the work done. They thought I went to a id but was surprised that everything is put together nicely by just a contractor. She is very experienced and quite accommodating. The good thing is I managed to get some extra work done without being charged. so I think as long as price is reasonable and workmanship is good, id or contractor also ok right ?
