The Kitschy Industrial Farmhouse Wannabe

I think its a good idea to treat your helper better coz she is the one taking care of your kids and cooking for the whole family.... -
Besides the sense of achievement, its also the $ saved! I think I saved at least $600 by not employing the painters to do the job for me! Oh well... I am on budget!
-
Maybe you can go to those DIY or Self-fix shops to see if they sell compressor cover?

Don't worry about the paint! The color might "darken" after a month or so... Initially, my living room color looks very "bright" but after a month of "settling" in, the color has dimmed down a lot. Give it some time before contemplating to change the color. Anyway, you will be placing fridge and other furniture in the kitchen and my guess is that, you won't be seeing a lot of the "blue" once your furniture/appliances are in!

Its Nippon paint, "Lite Up NP PB 1544 P". i chose the matt version, there is another "bright" version of this color with another code.
-
I totally agree! Ahahaha Blue color is good for bedroom coz its conducive for sleeping. Grey is a nice color. And the bluish-green color brightens up the living room. I bought Nippon paint as it is the only brand that is available in Self-fix shops.

Welcome to Renotalk! Your title "2 steps forward, 1 step back" reminds me of a Korean song in "Secrets Garden".

Its looking good with the cove lightings! Doesn't look like a "defect" now... I meant the straight beam...

Sorry about the mess! As you can see, I haven't clean up the mess aka paints on the floor etc. I shall provide more pictures after my furniture starts coming in! I am changing the bedroom doors to solid wood doors as I found the current doors very hollow. I have requested white doors to go with the overall color scheme! I am also going to install sliding windows to the service yard. I shall upload more photos when they are fixed! Yay!

My common room aka study room! ">http:// My corridor aka passageway! ">http:// My corridor is the same color as the common room coz I still have leftover paint! keekee... However, I think its a nice contrast between the living room color and corridor color. I have also painted the door frame to white color. I intend to hang pictures on the walls of the corridor!

Hi! Can share with me your electrician's contacts? Thanks! -
I have the same problem as you. You can try ComfortDesign near Paya Lebar mrt. Their sofa prices are friendly on the wallet! They also have a huge range of tables and chairs there. I bought my sofa from ScanTeak and its around 1.41m long.

Besides BeeBest, i think Joven and Rinnai do have instant heater with DC pump incorporated. Do check out those 2 brands if you have doubts about BeeBest! The reason why i bought BeeBest is because it is cheaper when compared to Rinnai. And after i bought BeeBest and kaypohing around, i found Joven to have DC pump too! Heehee...

I think they come in 2 colors, black n silver. I got the silver color. I think it costs $280. I will need to dig out the invoice and check again.

My new flat is at 16th floor. When I tried 707 Compact, the water pressure is ok/normal. At least it is not drizzling type. Ok, put it this way, if i turn on the 707 shower head at full blast, it can reach about 80cm far? Whereas my BeeBest with the DC pump can reach about 140cm far?

I am answering to my own question and just in case other forumners are interested to know too. My main door is certified as 0.5hr fire door! Yay!
