  1. for curtains u wan try karbell? e price i quite happy. search from newspaper actually. prompt to measure and install.. so far haven need service..
  2. look at ocbc.. think they hav interest free reno loan but i think it should has those so call admin fee which actually come out maybe around the same ba.. nt so sure with their terms n condition.. u better ask and usu they only tied with a few reno company.. ie u can choose from all reno company but those fews.. maybe u won lik those few to reno ur house too.. so there's always give n take.. y nt called ocbc bank n check with them.. i used rhb cos at that time they gav the lowest interest to me.. 1 yr ago.. n also check with ur contractor whether they had banks tat offer lowest interst rate to u when ur reno done by them..

  4. ya, if the tiles is damaged, who is going to be responsible, tiler will blamed the window contractor, likewise window contractor might claim tat e tiler did a poor job n tat the tiles r hollow tat's y it got damage. n who gonna pay for e damage.. tat's y if done by e same person, u can get tat particular person to b responsible.. easy for u.. but then if diff person.. it is tough in this case.. who is rite who is wrong it's hard to say. n might make things complicated..

  11. mine also crack glass.. the other day the lights guy from the company i buy them come help check light ic, cos we used 2,3,5 ic n they accidentally broke one, they replaced but the joint to hold the cracked glass gave way recently.. tips, must remove the crack glass before remove the bulb, else like wat we encountered, we broke the bulbs.. :<, and the metal pc, the round wan, got rust after a yr.. tat's y i hope urs is of better quality then mine.. as i noticed there are diff quality in the market.. with this design
  12. on a low property market, some might totally for a few months without closing a deal.. they r takin a high risk jobs this is true tat come with high returns or zero return, jus lik insurance agent.. car agents.. we can do wuth or without them, but to mak our life easily, we might need their assistance.. i had a experience losing up a chance of buying one unit suspect due to commssion reasons as i brought a agent to help deal with the seller agent although i did call up the seller agent myself. noticed that when u call up newspaper spoke to the seller agent, they automatically wan u to let them be ur agent to get e 1% comm.

  16. jus sharing only.. u can ask whether can remove the item like i also do, i removed the gate from my contractor as i found this, he allow me to removed it.. so no harm trying, or maybe you can ask if the price still e same, cos mine is 1 yr ago.. jus trying to see if this can help u saved a little.

  20. jus sharing i went to a unit, i called the agent said that i'm the buyer, i wan to view the unit, i ask which floor, happened that i stay jus opposite, so before i go up i went the night before and spot the right unit, this owner's parents invite us in to view, we are pleased with the unit. my friend happened to be an agent, i scared being cheated by the seller agent so i ask my friend around.but as a first timer, i didn't know that this commission thing, end up tis seller agent a xra agent fd out that i'm the one that called him earlier, told me that my friend shdn't had intercept this deal, and that this xra is my agent by right.. end up wondering if the agent did sthg to e deal as we signed the otp but short of 1 owner signature, end up we did not managed to buy the flat.. so end p i realised that if u call the agent, they usu ask, you are buyer or agent? meaning if u r buyer, ha ha he will be ur agent, so he will get 1% plus 2 % commission if agent, i think he wont help u much.. i did ask my agent when i purchase my existing flat, actuallu i don need to give 1 % comm rite? they told me, it's trade practise.. meaning u happy i happy, u pay me, i help u.. so fi u not willing to pay, the chances of getting ur ideal flat at better price.. low wondered anyone ever told a property agent that post in st that i will act as my own agent? best if unless that lucky like my collegue, seller post himself, so he buy without agent fee.. both gain again when engaging a agent we jus wan easy transcation.. pp to guide us.. jus like renovation, unless got the time to everything diy cheers
  21. heard from my agent there's is one they share databased, but think they wont reveal.. another agent which is my friend, i think he don has much lobang or he don intend to sell flat.. guess ask him search any property wont help.. :< and if u are lookin for particular flat, unless they put mailers on that block n wait for results, but if got so much time to wait might as well also look at repurchase flat from hdb, much cheaper, jus try luck lo. but when don hav time n need a flat, grab any available n good ones, jus has to look at st daily lo.. this is how my friend got herself a flat after few months of search. yuan fen ba to get a flat, its urs it will be there for u.

  23. thanks to all that reply after this.. guess papbestdad never read my attached signature..p which yuan wang.. nevermind cleared thru the rest help i bought a resale flat 1 yr ago... and so did my in-laws.. and they are allowed to do reno will waiting for their second appointment, but mine seller don allow cos she even intend to stay on longer but we need moved in asap so we agreed on which ever date hdb gave us for our second appointment.. that's y i stated with agreement of the seller.. hope this solved those who has doubt on my post.. pls check with ur respective housing agents happy renovation too!!!
  24. agree, withdraw oni make situation worse.. i got 3 with them, check with my friend a prudential advisor, also advise me to hold.. lik wat was on the newspaper, they had sufficient funds.. thta's why MAS allows them to sell policies..
