To me, as long as you maintain your air-con and do servicing every 6 months, it should be able to last you a few years. My parents bought Mitsubishi Starmex inverter, less than 2 yrs up the lorry. Remember, maintenance is important.

ahhboi, i bought mine at OG. If u got budget, go for Tencel type about 600 thread counts. Most brands now carry Tencel bedsheets as it is really silky smooth and more popular. I also notice higher thread counts tend to be more smooth but also more expensive. The one i bought is Tencel bedsheet (i forgot brand) $220 with quilt cover 600 thread count king size.

I did it once in my previous flat, its really not easy especially the part using knife have to be very careful, if you are not confident pls refrain from doing it. Once the window is clean, applying the new film is piece of cake, yes spray more soapy water and after the film is up, u can actually adjust it accordingly with the soapy water still on. Once done, u still have to use penknife to cut off excess unless u measure it first before putting on. I learn all this from my friend's car tinting shop, he even gave me the chemical lotion which remove the leftover sticky glue real easy.

Agree on this, simple task. Unscrew existing one, bring along to hardware shop just in case.

Removing the sticker is easy though, but the sticky glue left behind is really hard to remove unless u use chemical lotion and arm with a penknife to do it. Afterwhich go any DIY store to get new ones.

Agree with OceanEleven most lightings are Made in China. Went to lots of lighting shop, flip over you see "Made in China", so Tao Bao is a good alternative, i will be also getting most of my lights in Taobao as i need 34 x LED downlights, 23 x T5 whole house. If i buy locally, my wallet will tear big time. (See my signature quote?)

If your T5 are in the same "gang" meaning all in a row, they should charge you one lighting point only and the rest use looping (like a chain connecting one after another). Im charge per loop $8.

The charges should be same as a new switch point, nothing special I'm charge that way.
