I will agree with your contractor on double sink too. If you wish to wash the wok maybe you can go for 33 or 36 inch type which is 60/40

The water filter is something I have been wondering for some time already too. Or I should just use the traditional method of boiling water. LoL ~ Hyflux is quite an established company and local company which mostly I will lean towards if I am getting one. -

Air cleaner and humidifier is not really needed i guess for time being... That falls under my good to have category ...

Thanks for the suggestion. That is the main idea but I am afraid track lights may not be able to cover the total brightness of the place so the fan is a secondary idea back up

Agree it may not really look good but the thing is if i don want fake ceiling (L Box) type, i may have to choose that as lights mounted on ceiling will have shadows from the fan.

The Ikea stuff seem quite nice and good workmanship. For the Aircon I am not really an expert in it so unable to comment much.
