    For the painting I will prefer something more bright which have white base, think Yellow Korner should have some pictures. For the TV feature wall, I think you can add in decals / paint at the 4 corner / hang some scarf or other items which you have have enquire during trips or etc. (*Hope this help)

    Not much update except going through the electrical points with ID. The electrician dismantle all the wires as some are quite old.

    Shaded Area : False Ceiling Star : Downlights Square : Normal Ceiling Lights Wonder if I should put 2 or 3 downlights at that area ?

    Thanks for the suggestion. Spoken to my ID and will do false ceiling for that portion to make it look like a separator. Cove light will be installed to provide a dim light to the Living area for watching TV.

    Its my photo skill lousy so not clear ... hahaha ~ I not going to do open concept for kitchen, walls will be erect with a door in mid.

    Hmm I kind of cannot accept those not uniform look ... That is part of the living room and the door and wall is 1m inside from the beam shown ...

    After hacking notice a problem. Originally not going to do any false ceiling & Living Room will eat into kitchen size of 1meter. After hacking, found out that the kitchen ceiling wall is lower by around 4 Inch (10cm). Some suggestion I got : 1. Do false ceiling for whole of living room and use downlights 2. Design a big piece of platform above dinning area (Which is part of where the Living eat into kitchen) 3. Few feature Beams. Anyone have any suggestion or propose as above ?

    Not sure on the contractors as I haven't seen them. Started today actually (FSM advise for the date and time) Actual hacking and etc will be next week (Waiting for permit) Thanks. Will mostly start next week (Hope the permit comes fast)

    To my knowledge is that some IDs have special pricing with certain flooring company. The IDs may able to offer you a more attractive rate
