i have posted a lists of ID /contractors whos is good and bad, you can use it as a reference...pm me if you want to know more ...i am no doubt to give you a hand......hope it will be useful for you..

It depends on those what kind of figures that are you going to pay for such good quality.....homo tiles brand like Huiya, SANFI,CHAMPION those are good brands...for instance, HAFARY is famous of Champion Brand for the past 2 years since year 2005 until 2007 until the factory is closeed down and they using BOHUA,HUIYA this 2 brands.Lian Seng Hin wise, they have lots of tiles so called anti-stain homo tiles with the chepaer range...those range BULL****..as lots of owners and contractors encouter lots of trouble and have to ask the polisher to polish the surface as its looks very wasy however LIAN SENG HIN do carry brand like MARCO-POLO n HUIYA (same with Hafary) ...if you drop by Soon Bee Huat, they do have lots of range.. brand like HUIYA also can be found in there as well..another brand LIKE SANFI also a good grand from a good factory from CHINA, quite pretty sure that the price is not the cheapest as well.....if you guys want to know more..can drop me email for those brand that from CHina..no harm to share with u.........

this situation always happens in white horse as they don't keep so much stock at their warehouse and u will easily see the different of two tones when u noticed that tiler already lay on as tilers themselves lazy and check the tonality of the tiles..................so if next time, when approach to White Horse check with them..whether are they have the sufficent tiles for replenish......

if you want, can direct look for Ah Siong (9022 3508) he is the specialists for marble and homo polishing... as lots of tiles shop n renovation firms also refer them for their services..in the polishing marble and homo services, only 3 groups of ppl are considered specialists and their service is no harm to ask him to dropby your place and get the price from him, u can direct liase with the polisher or ask your contactor to liase with him also can....

IF you are interested, u can direct liase with the carpenter factory....it's much more cheaper and save yourself money esp economy is bad now. If you go though contractors, they also will charge you and they also need to earn as well.....however if u want to direct deal with carpentry, i have few lists for you to go through it...compare it and you make the final decision for yourself... p/s: ACE-MEN RENOVATION & TRADING is running by Indian ppl and normally they deal with indian customers while they are contractor based no come up with any designs..hard to attract ppl without design.....in this forum i am so surprise to found out....

Seems everything's ok and consider ok..however what is your expectation money are u going to spend for the whole renovation..think about it and discuss more with your contractor..and the most important things make sure that the contractor is trustworthy....beware of certain renovation firms that i have listed out in this forum...good luck to you...pm me if you want to know more ..no harm to share with you...hope everyhting is smooth and fine with you... good luck

are u choosing the tiles for the living floor.........if you are using the black homo tiles, pls make sure that u must take care well of the surface and black homo tiles easly absorb the stain and are theyin high gloss series ???.........if you compare the tiles u get from Lian Sean Hin and Soon Bee Huat, both of them are same and from the same factory....u can found the black homo tiles in certain tiles shop like Soon Bee Huat, Lian Seng Hin, Hafary n Taugres, other tiles shop dun selling this black homo tiles and it is in the high risk level... not dare to guarantee of its quality unless with high gloss series (anti-stain) ..not 100% guarantee if you insist to use black homo tiles, pls advice your contractor to take care of its surface when lay on the floor..put the paper cardboard to cover and protect its surface..NO ACID to wash after completion of the site..coz it will worsen the surface and have to ask ppl to repolish its surface....

the tiles brand is known as Guocera, from Malaysia ...normally supply to new HDB, MOSTLY for sengkang and punggol area, if you want to look more, beside Hafary, u still can drop by Soon Bee Huat at Toh Guan Road East look for the replacement..either look for Esther or JiaHui, they might give u a hand.....Besides, Hafary, Soon Bee Huat is one of the largest tiles suppliers in Singapore.......hope you can find your replacement there...

are you deal with Alex Lim or Cheryl ??so far their reputation is consider ok, if not can look for another design Chun Kim...but this guy will be too busy....compare to the two, can consider about it......worth to try it..however at IMM try to avoid Stiles Deseno, Inner View or Weiken.com/Future Home, will let you the main reason..not try to black mouthing their reputation, pm for further info..

if you think that he's fine with you...then maybe u can give it a try..however based on the i knew this guy...ANDY YEE is an complicated person to understand and hard to co-operate..........i personally think that his mind is unstable due to his family problems n financial problems......so far got some forumers provide a negative feedback on his side,if you looking around IMM, can drop for EL at GPlan....or pm for a contact for good contractor....no harm to give a try and i think my friend able to help you................. p/s: think twice.......before sign the doted lines....

Dear all, i think everyone is rushing for the house renovation and quite busy searching for reliable and responsible ID / CONTRACTORS,therefore i have a lists of good for recommend...just a piece of advice and guideline based on i know well of them .......... SPACIOUS PLANNERS (can refer to Winnie Bek & Angie Toh, bosses of the company, design wise, quite well known for its carpentry works and design as well, price wise, consider little bit high, but worth it..however still can refer to Winnie for further discussion, she is easy-going person and she can help you to arrange and propose for you as well ) G PLAN ( quite famous in this forum esp Kelvin NG, looks like Taiwanese Artist, NONO but seems very busy to handle too much of jobs, beside him, still can look for Gordon Leong, Kenny Leong (Gordon's brother),EL ,ARRON n others ID ........have to meet them up during evening coz all of them are busy.....hehe INNER VIEW DESIGN & CONTRACTS ( can refer to Colin Tan & Jason Tan (bosses of the company, the rest have to depends on your luck when talk to them.....HOWEVER GOT some comments of this company in this forum, can track back for those black listed id esp A**DY YE* STILES DESENO INTERIORS.....management system very messy...if possible..think twice , this is piece of advice no try to badmouth them...for those encounter with JOHNSON, i think they suppose know what am i talking about.......... WEIKEN.COM/FUTURE HOME (highly recommend LISA TOH & JUSTIN ONG ......the rest of those IDs are more contractors type..eventhough they have promotion, but think twice before put on the doted lines.....got lots of fedback from forumers in this forum,can track back as proof... EARNEST INTERIORS ( I would like to say it's a responsible ID firms esp boss, James Lim himself manage well of his company, beside Benedict, can go for Frankie Er, Ben Sng n Zann Loo..no need i to say, got so many good comments from this forum.... can drop by Universal Union at Geylang Road..i knew the boss well,if you drop there look for Mr.Tan and he might offer you a better price and they already 28 years in this line selling the bathroom accessories...plus it is a ISO certificated company

where do u live now and maybe u can try at IKEA or hardware shop nearby your area...for instance, In Jurong, can drop at TOH GUAN ROAD EAST..

try to ask the contractor change for you..and press your contractor to deal with the tiles suppliers, they might have the stock and the same tone......they must have the way if you insist to..dun try to be too soft heart..by the way..where did you get your tiles..white horse ???

instead of using solid surface why don't use the granite as the top....as granite looks more elegance and much stronger than solid surface in term of strach resistance....for long term, it is worth to switch to granite ..however if you guys still prefer using solid surface, can drop me for the lists of solid surface suppliers...but bear in mind .....look for the reasonable and good quality one....it's much more cheaper if you get from the supplier and they also do with the installation as welll

u also can get it from Universal Union at Geylang Road..also made from stainless steel..but nowadays all like MADE IN CHINA..certain quality have to pay for he money loh..........
