neighbours, ask u guys for opinion, i initially decided on Dunlopillo Duchess. Indiv pocketed spring with 1 inch talalay latex. And with bedframe and divan,i it comes up to about $1900 (more ex than original package as i am changing the metal legs to wooden ones so they need to custom make) but yesterday i went shopping @takashimaya and saw a dunlopillo honey combed spring with 3 inch talalay latex. it costs $2500+ (after deduction of $200 taka vouchers) with bedframe with wooden legs and divan and 1 set of egyptian cotton bedsheet set. which would you guys consider? both deals come with mattress protector and pillows. Me and hubby for now still quite slim lar.. dunno how we will expand a few yrs down the road. Is 1 inch of latex sufficient? Or is 3 inches too much? Anyone who owns this 3 inch talalay latex mattress has anything to comment?

i'm very picky and into detail. He said the door is nice, i find it's old looking and clashes with my decor. he advised me not to do anything to my doors. and yes, we must unite together and make sure no one dirties this place where we take pride in. Hmph!

i wanna paint my wooden door too!! If i have the $$, i would LOVE the change my metal gates as well.. But what's the cost like? Got another problem as well.. one of my bedroom that faces the main door, the colour we chose which is light blue (for the paint) ends up it doesn't go well with my dark brown laminate flooring. To change colour, i have to fork out $100. But now money really no enough due to house and wedding prep. Would u guys change the colour?

spray gun? as in water spray fixec next to the WC for use to wash the toilet? I bought the spray for about $20+ and my id will get the contractors to install foc.. Space, i thought yr contractor should be installing yr bathroom accessories for u FOC? If he charges $60 for the item + installation, i think it's quite ex.

armani, mine's a non-inverter. But it was only installed last fri and reno is undergoing now so haven't try yet. But my hubby has friends who own air con servicing shops and they told us to get either panasonic or daikin. so we got panasonic base on what they say. sorry, not able to comment much. Regarding yr purchase of sanitary wares (Taps, wc, sinks etc) i believe heading down to choose with yr partner is a better idea. as u mentioned yr contractor is yr kopi kaki, if u realise (or think) that he got a more expensive deal for you, i.e. he took some commision form yr purchase, that'll probably make u see him in a diff light and jeopardise yr kopi kaki relationship. So, to me, i would hunt on my own to get what i want since taste is something that's very subjective. These items are fixtures so if he chose something u dun like, it's probably gonna be an eye sore to u for some time. But u must have the luxury of time to hunt on yr own though. Anyone heading to tanglin halt later abt 4pm? I'll be dropping by to see see look look at my reno.

am starting reno in 2 days time! Hee.. contributing some noise (and loads of dust) to our too quiet neighbourhood.

hi surge, where exactly is Bretz? Any idea how much was theirs? Cos for finger scanning aka biometric lock, it's more expensive than card access.

anyone knows where can i find locks using access cards? Went to one in IMM and it costs over $600. Still sourcing for more quotes.

hey folks, i'll be doing overlay for my MBR toilet. ID said i can look at possiblity of not taking off the mixer (for shower) provided and lay tiles around it. (i.e. they will cut the tiles to fit the mixer and mend any possible gaps). Would u do that or remove the whole mixer to overlay then fix a new mixer?

hi, i'm new here but has been lurking arn sgbrides, home and deco for quite sm time.. gonna be a proud resident of blk 91 as well, but the loan processing is pissing me off as i have not gotten date for collection of keys and loan dept was to get back to me many days back but they haven't.. anyway, heard lots of news of many neighbours having good views.. wat about unit 302?? i'm staying below mid floor.. somehow i think i can only see rooftops of other flats ahead of me.. hahaha!!
