  1. Do share more details, we are interested to know about this project as well. We do supply outdoor decking which comes together with the baton, but like I said, we are suppliers, so RenoPro should be the expert in this. That being said, hope to see more light in this topic. Cheers, Sheridan
  2. I totally agree, better safe then sorry, you are already saving a part of the cost, the additional savings is not worth the potential risk if any. And I believe they won't really charge if required, so its yeah, better safe then sorry.
  3. Yes, vinyl flooring is a trend due to its cost and waterproofing element, you get the best of both worlds for a very affordable price. Why follow everyone and go for the old and cold marble etc when you can have a unique and beneficial waterproof laminate (not vinyl).
  4. Well Battleangel, I'm not sure by what you mean defunct, however a few toilet jobs since 2011 never had any problems with it, in fact there were 3 customers who came back and insisted on the same product for their new home. We also supply to 2 renowned ID Firms, where one of the is an International ID.
  5. The posting date is on 15 August 2013 on that 'promo', if its really a promo, the price should be different now, else....... I'm a supplier of laminate, vinyl and decking too, but I won't be crashing here.
  6. I understand how that feels, it so much fun and awesome to have something different, but it will just die off very soon But good thing is, whenever you have visitors, they will always be WOWed. Great job on the saving and seriously, that is one very beautiful job!! Congrats. If you don't mind, maybe I could use it to share with some of my customer? I'm just a laminate flooring supplier, but occasionally, we do install laminate flooring in toilets. So this layout could be an inspiration for them to design. If you don't mind, I'll direct my customer to this page :-) Cheers, Sheridan
  7. Good job Bahamut! This might be an off case, but it should serve as a reminder to all not to take things for granted. However in your case, its obvious that Adrian was to be blamed. Anyway, glad that everything worked out fine, and hope its smooth sailing from here on out. Cheers, Sheridan
  8. Do you get taxed for bringing it in? I mean, you have to declare it right. Just curious on how much it cost
  9. Hi guys, I'm a supplier for laminate, vinyl and decking (outdoor) flooring. As what battleangel said, vinyls on the market are usually equipped with locking system already. But to shed a little more light on this, if the locking is good, there won't be gaps etc, unless its designed to do so. As for the glue down version of vinyl, I won't say its primitive, its just that the cost to manufacture these vinyl are cheaper compared to locking types, and usually its also thinner, cost aside, always go for those with locking. If budget is an issue, you could always consider laminate, however the main concern here is water damage. Fret not, we do offer waterproof laminate (not vinyl). Our product offering ranges from the double laminate technology all the way to waterproof laminate (not vinyl). If you have any queries or doubts, please feel free to contact me, its feedback and comments that enable us to learn more and give better and more constructive feedbacks. Cheers, Sheridan
  10. Better call and ask your contractor/ID to rectify this before it gets even larger. Cheers, Sheridan
  11. Ashley, to put your confusion to rest, both has their advantages and disadvantages, it depends on where do you plan to have it install. That being said, a little history about vinyl, it was created for the commercial market (meant to be stepped on with shoes and not feet, and definitely not meant for you to sit or lie on it.) However, througout the years, technology has improved, but at the same time, certain companies are taking advantage of this and cut cost, hence the toxic rumors started flowing. How true? I have no idea, like I said, its rumor and have yet to stumbled on a real incident. If waterproofing and wooden flooring is what you seek, you could try out our waterproof laminate (not vinyl). But bear in mind, good things are not cheap, cheap things might be not good. Lol Cheers and have a nice day all, Sheridan
  12. Hi Apple, I'm a supplier of laminate flooring, and depending on what flooring solutions you need, price might differ. Just a basic idea: Parquet - Increase value, best feel, but water is troublesome Laminate - Good feel, water could be trouble unless you opt for our waterproof laminate (not vinyl) Vinyl - Tough, silent, waterproof Tile - Easy to maintain, waterproof, but its cold Cheers and have a nice day, Sheridan
  13. Hi Linda, Have you solved your problems yet? If not you could try PM me. I know this won't be a sales, but I would hate to see your place feeling incomplete simply due to just a small thing.
  14. Well, everyone has been saying there are benefits on wood flooring compared to tiles, mainly on the cold part. But tiles on the other hand is easier to maintain But to each their own and depends on their budget, I'm a supplier of laminate and vinyl flooring, we also carry the latest waterproof laminate (not vinyl) flooring.
  15. Are you interested in vinyl or waterproof laminate? We are the locally appointed distributor and goods are from Floor Depot Malaysia. And if you would like to, I could intro a reliable ID if needed. Cheers and have a nice day, Sheridan
