  1. thanks for sharing. I also need LPG. now i know which company to approach
  2. Not exactly custom made. Just a slight change in the color. The shape and design is still off-the-shelf but they manufacture individually in Malaysia
  3. Thanks everyone for your kind words and encouragement. Received a photo via watsapp from Malaysia on the water feature that i've ordered (the original design is that there are some bricks/stones that are in red color, i requested not to have that but to only have some bricks/stone in grey. That's why they watsapp me to confirm that):
  4. Mine is $2850 for Starmex System 3 (9k btu for all 3 fancoils). When you are tired, you stop going around to compare prices. So there's some items that i've gotten may not be the best price. But then again who knows about the quality and workmanship....maybe 1 shop is slightly more expensive but the installation workmanship is better?
  5. For resale flat, its like that one. i also kenna. there's 1 false wall and 1 build-in wardrobe that was later discovered need to be dismantled and disposed, and the ID quoted me $400 to dismantle it (as its not in the initial quotation ). I managed to save $200 by dismantling the false wall myself (you can check my T-blog) but not for the build-in wardrobe. Then later when the contractor removed the old L-box and false ceiling, they "strongly encouraged" to plaster the ceiling as its not smooth.
  6. Induction hob you can only choose those models that has 2 heaters (2 cooking zones). you can use system 4 aircon but you cannot use too many electrical appliances at the same time to avoid power trip.
  7. you may also want to consider the sofa height. seating height
  8. Looks like no more scandi theme, and the Kitchen's industrial theme looks half-past-six. But then modern look, and dunno what theme look.... Maybe once the lightings are installed, furniture are delivered, and cleaning is completed, the overall look and feel would be clearer. Getting tired despite the CNY break. Over the past 8 weeks or so, have to check the contractors' and ID's works, make many decisions including decisions on what electrical appliances, lightings and furniture to buy so that they fit ascetically and are also practical, and balance all that with the budget. I don't have a spouse to help share the load too. Excitement is long dead, just want to quickly finish this and get over with it. This is getting to be a drag.
  9. Don't know how the contractors got this bag to store debris, but my Vietnamese friend says that the bag is formerly used as bag for pig's feed
  10. Pending electrician to install this Study Room led ceiling light which is tunable and dimmable and also remote-controlled
  11. Study top-hung cabinet was supposed to be 1.5m but shrink to 1.37m the laminate underneath is glossy so can "reflect" more light from the led strip light Pending electrician to install the led strip light:
  12. All carpentry hinges are BLUM and soft-closing Drawers and railing are not BLUM but soft-closing
  13. Let's look at the fancoils and compressor: At certain angle you can see the all or 2 fancoils
  14. Let's look at the internal layout of the kitchen cabinets (top): Open shelves Plate & Dish holder Tall-shelf with box-up inside to box-up the kitchen drainage pipes
  15. More Kitchen cabinet photos: The Brushed Alumina MTA 9310XL for the bottom Kitchen cabinet doors looks more brownish than metallic: holes for the electrical plugs and switch for the led strip light electrical wiring for the hood: Holes for the Eubiq:
  16. This is how Ando Concrete laminate for the Kitchen cabinet (external) looks like: unfortunately, the Brightsteel 3177 Kitchen wall looks more blue-ish than greyish on photos.
  17. More photos taken last Saturday. The bifold toilet door at MBR which is lockable at both sides instead of only at the toilet side (this is to prevent someone from entering the MBR from the toilet and vice-versa) View of the door from MBR: View of the door from the toilet:
  18. not much difference between kronotex and krono-orginals. Both are from germany. the only difference i believe is still the laminate design/colour and of course the pricing...
