It is true to use good energy saving bulbs...recently I was measuring my consumption when I switch on 2 10W down lights...it shows 50W! It seems the bulbs are not efficient or something wrong with my wiring that causes the additional load...

Interest Check: Eco-eye Realtime Electricity Monitors
dankoo replied to dankoo's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Interesting that we have one made in SGP. I think there are a few differences: Eco-eye monitor is wireless. I paid ~S$140 including shipping. Just need to clip the transmitter to the LIVE mains. The ETRACK however does have the feature to measure individual applicances which is a add-on for Eco-eye. Eco-eye displays historical HR, Day,Week, Mth and Year. I do not know how much is ETRACK. Looks good though. -
Hey guys, just doing a interest check to see if anyone interested in this device. It is a wireless monitor that take realtime reading of your electricity consumption 24x7. You just need to clip the transmitter to your Mains Live wire that it. There are 2 version, Eco-eye Elite and Eco-eye Mini. Elite is with a larger display that's all. I am already using the Mini. Find it quite useful so want to see if friends here are interested too...I am using this to check against my bills from SP...defintely made me more aware of my consumption and what are those appliances that are sucking up power...feel free to post qns...once there are interest, I will organise a spree. Listed are the features from the website: Eco-eye comprises of a wireless sender unit which attaches to any live cable (usually at the meter) and a display unit which can be wall-mounted, freestanding or portable. The large display unit is easier to read than those on similar products. Cost of supply can be analysed by hour, day, week, month or year. Functionality and programmability has been designed with ease of use and simplicity in mind. Display options: Kilowatts, £s, (€ and $ versions are software options), CO2 emissions - shown by either hour, day, week, month or year – also has a 24 hour clock display option. Memory function - has the ability to check historical usage & CO2 emissions on a week-by-week basis and cost comparisons by the hour, day, week, and month. Real-time readings update every 4 seconds or 30 seconds (power save option) Uses 4 AA batteries or can be used with the optional AC power adapters – energy efficient; uses negligible electricity to operate. Estimated battery life is around six months. Website: www.eco-eye.com

Was wondering why you guys not getting from irobot directly? I think recently they have a 20% promo code which makes the price quite attractive too. group buy is OK but shipping has to be individual cos it will incur GST....

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?
dankoo replied to tientien's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
Website not really functioning cos I think they using the main company site...Seng Leong I think...I also got the 20mins timer and also a 3hr timer. -
I do agree that is the main thing to consider when getting direct from US. In USA, they have roombaxchange which is the indirect servicing agent for iRobot. Indirect cos iRobot dont offer any servicing services...they only do exchanges. There are parts that we can order from roombaxchange too.

It all depends. You have to check the reputation of the seller. I have good experience so far....Amazon dont ship their electrical stuff to SGP too..you have to go thru a forwarding company. My first Roomba from amazon...made the mistake cause they put the irobot package into another box..this increases the vol weight of the package and I incurred more costs!

My Tromm cap is 9kg wash and 5kg dry...works pretty well although I dont use the dryer often...heavy on the pocket lah...
-
Guys...just to check...can we still order the APS batt? I heard that they dont ship out side US now even thru Vpost? anyone can confirm?
-
I am using the LG Tromm 14311 9kg/5kg washer/dryer with DD (direct drive). Has been 6 mths and very happy with it..RPM can goes up to 1400 but I dont use that high. The wash is very clean, clothes are not all creased up at 1000rpm spin. Normal wash for me takes 1.5 hrs. Has the energy and water saving ticks. The DD is really super quiet too...

I did call them leh...told me est is net weight but actual is based on volume weight....maybe I got conned! !!

Hi all...new to this forum. Just stumble on this thread. I actually own both...the Scheduler and QQ2. Did post my thoughts on both in HWZ: http://forum.hardwarezone.com/showthread.php?t=1600208 Anyway, I do find that we in SGP has not really catch up on the merit of have a robotic vacuum. I personally feels that it does take away the need for me to sweep my floor everyday...I just have a part time maid to come in once a week for that...the rest handle my Roomba.. I also got my from Amazon. Do note that the estimation from Vpost on shipping not very accurate. It est 62++ but end up 110! Called up and they told me cos the volume weight take precedance over actual weight Anyway, I am using the step down transformer but the suggestion by Koh sounds very interesting...but afraid will burnt the charger leh... For those wanting to buy from overseas...do note that if you ever want to buy accessories from the local disty...they charge you double hor...I just check recently...the filters set is ~30++ for "members" but ~60+ for non members!! I have also read from reviews that QQ2 is not friendly to any rugs or cables..so got to note that...other than that, QQ2 is slightly higher and bigger..moves slower, uses timer, no scheduling...has a small UV light..small compartment to stuff in some aroma pack...pricing is slightly lower compared to US set.
