FINALLY a moment which many are looking forward to - Photos of carpentry progress! Imagine the excitement when ID sent me the photos in the morning and evening, I had to "contain" myself in office! From ID - DAY 18 VIOLA! Full view of the cooking side (Off white solid surface solid will be installed next week) --> Almost 90% similar to 3D All doors and drawers have soft-closing feature (wish to have BLUM but this is a low budget reno.. so outz!) A door is missing but will be installed on Sat. LOVE how my Taiyo induction hub "lay" down there. Hahahaha Sink area (Roz sink from Hoe Kee) Last but not least --- Tall unit + Counter table @ half wall Oh, they installed my master bedroom vanity cabinet too but I informed ID that it's a tad too low via WA and he called me instantly to clarify @ 9pm after my msg. service!! Some mistakes are inevitable, but what I find most important throughout my renovation experience is ~ my ID always listens and resolve asap with no prejudice.

Good morning! Today is Day 18 of renovation and they are installing the carpentry! I saw the 3D but nothing beats the excitement of anticipating the actual finished product! Tomorrow they will measure for solid top. Looking forward to the photos from ID and I'll try to post here. Heeheeheee. Oh, electrician is now at another house, not sure if he can pop by today. HMMM. pls come over and finish up my TRACK LIGHTS!!

Just saw the sofas from Notion Design, $690 only! Too late already... arghhh. For others, Tirimisu has recommended another great place for such sofas... I love the L shape one at $990.. cheap!

Hi, the feeling is amazing, they are working relatively fast despite the delay caused by HDB. Can't wait to see yours! I bought KDK, $350 for the one in living room and $280 for the baby fan. They wobble when windows are opened so I dun recommend.... but again I bought KDK because the KDK wall fans my parents bought 20yrs ago are still working now! According to KDK installers, their fans wobble Performance wise is good, very powerful.

So disappointed today! ID called and informed that no more stock for my bedrooms flooring So their boss came to my office with a stack of samples for my selection... nothing came close to that colour but I eventually chose this. Console me again pls ! Still scandi-style? Looking forward to Friday evening - my house should be fully lit-up by then & my kitchen cabinets will be installed. HEHEHE.

This week: 1. Ceiling Fans Installation - 4/3 -- DONE! 2. Carpentry for kitchen and bathroom - 7/3 3. Reconfiguration of Track-lights - 7/3 4. Painting (Nippon Sail White for whole house and Angel Pink for baby's room) - 9/3 5. Shower screen and bathroom full length mirror installation - TBA Next week: 1. Laminate flooring - 12/3 2. Delivery of furniture from Star Living - 15/3 3. Delivery of appliances - my tiny refrigerator, TV, oven - 15/3 4. Delivery of Washer/Dryer - 17/3 So, I ordered KDK fans... love the combination with the track lights (although an Aeratron fan would have aced better ) Master bedroom Baby fan - doesn't wobble much Living Room fan (track lights to be extended to cover the length of the room)

Now that you have given me assurance, aiyah, I should have gotten a set too! Mmm, they made 2 trips, one is site survey and next is trucking and installation of the aircon all within a day - 10am to 3pm. I will PM you my quote! Amcon does not open to check the items as they are just a forwarder and not an agent like Peeka or daigou65. Of course if they received anything damaged on arrival (DOA), they will inform and should contact seller. Sorry, I am not too sure about this. Oops, haven't read up because my purchases all are good (except tv console which is unopened....) Perhaps you can check with them how they can help if there are defects.

Ordering with Amcon was easy but after payment was done, there was absolutely no updates from them till they were shipping the items to Singapore. The transit time from China warehouse to their SG warehouse is less than a week. I noticed once items are in SG, follow up is good. If you do not mind customer service but wants fast shipping, can consider them. Take note that they do not do any checking of the packages so omce received must QC all items. I've checked all except for a solid wood tv console which cannot be opened! It's is wrapped with wooden frame. You can refer to my page 1 post on TB purchases via Amcon - 25 track lights 13m tracks 2 bar stools a foyer light a 1.5m tv console I paid $180+ for the shipping (1m3). Need to check the breakdown and update later. Rmb 550/m3 and S$30 document fees and GST. Each link is RBM 50. To me, it's cheap and I'm confident to buy from TB again. Must do homework amd check which seller to buy from. Heard from my PRC friend that some sellers are fake!

Hihi, I received it on 27th Feb through Amcon! Havent open it as I need a crowbar to pry open the packaging. Also my place is very dusty and in a mess now so I am not so keen to open too. Thought of asking ID to get his guys to help this Friday. Hehehe. For now it's hidden in the bombshelter..
