  1. The price depends on the measurements. I paid $100 and $120 respectively for the 2 blinds (after cart coupon $10 off) Check here - http://list.qoo10.sg/item/ROSANDECO-HORIZONTAL-BLIND-HOME-WALL-DECOR/412102305 So far staying in our lovely and cozy place has great.....baby loves the new house so much, somehow falling down on the laminate flooring doesn't hurt that much and she will laugh whenever she falls down Will share photos of the rooms once my upcoming TB loots are here!
  2. Sorry no idea lei - my laminate is about $5 psf inclusive of material and labour. Remember my ID mentioned that tiles is at least $8psf for tiles up to $3.50psf. You have to check with your contractor on this. I think some forumers bought the $2.70psf woodtiles from China, perhaps you can do some research and check that out =) IMO and experience, laminate flooring doesn't seem to take impacts that well. My family member dropped a tool on the floor and.... ARGH! Floor has a small hole now! Haven't ask my ID on how to fix that... Other than this, the entire look is great. If I have more budget, I would definitely go for tiles.
  3. Hi, thanks! Will PM you. Hi, I havent move in yet, baby has been very sick past weeks...Hmm, not too sure abt Evorich, my flooring is Kronoswiss laminate, not vinyl. It does feel a tad warm during daytime. If you have the budget, consider opting for woodtiles for longer durability. Laminate is not ideal for whole house imho. My kitchen surface is just simple solid surface, nothing fancy. I am hanging it over the BS vent, using Command metal hanger. This one -http://www.command.com.sg/wps/portal/3M/en_SG/APACCommand/Home/Products/Catalog/~/Command-Sticky-Nail-Sawtooth-Hanger?N=3294529204+5924736+3294774821&rt=rud
  4. Sorry, I have been away from the PC... All PM replied and my inbox is cleared! Hi, measure the exact size + 3cm. Max width of blind is only 1.5m so I had to order 2x for the windows. Do take note and read the FAQ on the seller's page. Good luck! Hi, the battery given by the supplier is hopeless la. I replaced them with Energizer, so far 1.5mths still very bright. Don't know how long it will last since I just got them in March =)
  5. Hi Larry, Pm u the contact already, as for quotation, pls go through my earlier post near end of page 9. Cheers!
  6. Paint used was Nippon Odourless Wash and Wear, for ceiling was Matex.

  9. Hi, my basin is from Hoe Kee, there are other shops mentioned in RT as well. You should be able to find the details if u run a search.
  10. Blinds from Qoo10 (Korea) Study Room Baby's room Master bedroom's night curtain is not ready yet, Will furnish nicely when we move in within the next few days!!!
  11. Final Reno touch-ups! As usual, ID's workers came early in the morning and swiftly settled everything nice nice. So paisei to request them to do things not mentioned in the quotation, somemore it is post-handover. Curtains up! Induction Hob also working perfectly. Living area - Day curtain from Ikea Fixed the messy cables too! I am very happy with how it looks now. $5 solution from IKEA! I love Ikea! Kept coffee table aside as my baby also fell down playing with it... Found a place for the wooden wall clock, next to the BS is a solid wood magnetic keychain cum letters holder from taobao. Simple but I love the functionality!
  12. All PMs replied! ID kindly arranged his workers to my unit tomorrow morning for installation of curtains/blind, induction hob, etc. Will ask if they can help me to conceal the tv cables too. Hehehe. After that, we just need to move in! There are no wardrobes yet, due to budget constraint, Im still contemplating between ready made or built in... or converting the study to a walk in wardrobe. Till then, no wardrobes in the house!
  13. Sleek cheap alternative to Haiku/Aerotron! Nice pick! Have you seen it in action though? Fans with such low dropheight tend to wobble.
  14. Hello! I am following! Looking forward to the progress! Nice pics loveeee brick wall!
  15. Yay my Korean blinds are here, now just waiting for ID to confirm installation date. http://list.qoo10.sg/item/ROSANDECO-HORIZONTAL-BLIND-HOME-WALL-DECOR/412102305
  16. Finally took time to ponder about this... will be getting the cable cover strip from Ikea then paint over it. Seems like it has been a weekly affair to Ikea now... $5 to solve my headache!! http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/catalog/products/60227369/ Here is the Expedit shelve in the living area. Clock is to be hung above BS...
  17. Argh but that makes my coffee table exceptionally small now.... lol
  18. Pretty much gonna put the sofa and armchair against the wall like this. Need space for my toddler!
  19. Been busy so nothing much done, will be pretty much the same in photos I shared as I do not have budget for add ons le. Gonna prepare some photo canvas of my baby and hang them up tastefully. Due to work commitments, cant take leave @%###% so my move in is delayed till further notice...
  20. Service IMHO is excellent, because whatever they promised they delivered. They listened to my views or requests and made changes/rectifications without any black faces, instead, my ID would asked me to check if ok or even took photos to show me. It was a very smooth renovation, maybe because it is simple, but I believe ny experience would be the same if I add in more carpentry. That said, I just requested them to help install Ikea curtains after handover and ID replied, Sure, will arrange. Wahhh aftersales service is good too:) Workmanship so far looks great, everything alighed, too soon to judge! But ID mentioned any issues, just contact him, he will fix them. My ID has been particularly busy like mad, I did not get to see him during handover but he sent his workers down and fixed everything for us. We communicated over the phone instead. Though I would love to meet him that day but his boss and workers said he had an influx of new projects so very busy from mon-sun. Since everything was well arranged by him and the house final touches were taken care of, I can't complain la. *I do not receive any commission for above review! Or referrals!*
  21. Hi, can power up using 9v battery from outside, in the house, just open it manually.
  22. Hihi, My flooring for whole house is laminate from Kronoswiss, not vinyl. Vinyl flooring I think many are using Evorich, perhaps you should research on this =) Sorry can't help you further. Will PM you the Painter contact after I clear inbox.. hehehe. - I mentioned in my earlier post that I paid $850 (using Nippon Wash & Wear) but this is my customised quotation. You have to let him view your place first. Basic paint is much cheaper. Here u go for the alarm clock! http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=27017236426 Just saw this on Qoo10 but so ex! http://list.qoo10.sg/item/%EF%BC%BBFASHION-CONVENIENT%EF%BC%BD-DIGITAL-WOODEN/411923500 Good luck!
