I can empathize your situation.. I'm sorry.. However, before anyone about to engage any inregardless of which area vendors/contractors.. Did we ever ask ourselves, why their prices is so attractive compare to the market..?? Which everything in this century is more & more expensive.. Smell rat.. I won't said all.. However, most of them are out there to collect deposit only & disappeared. Why some vendors/contractors. They may charge slightly middle range.. However, I suppose they are more reliable.. From here, Renotalk.. We have seen & read many many of unfortunate stories.. Why are we still giving those vendors/contractors chances to cheat our hard earn $$ Readers here, we should wake up our mind.. In this world, don't have any FREE Lunch!! Think before we ACT & Commit ourselves.. Cheers..

Add on a little here.. Oh, I have missed out.. While I'm parking car in the car park, my family saw some customers were crowding around a van looking at curtains & blinds samples!! Are they legal?? Illegal?? Ö Consumers, yup.. Myself, do agreed at times when renovating a new house can be quite budget.. However, we need to be wise too.. Why allowing those contractors/vendors/companies which maybe out there to cheat or to confuse us?? Why allowing further?? Shall we have a good thoughts now??..

Attending Friends & Relatives house warming these few months.. Has been thinking whether to put up this thoughts in my mind for awhile already.. Sigh.. So.. I'm here.. And I have decided to post this here.. In this century.. Above topic more or less what I will be writing here.. Another word for it.. TOUTING! Is it allowing here?? A sales person approached me near the lift!! Ahhhh.... This sales person was actually standing around the lift area, with a bag & a few booklet of sample.. Walking towards my family & asked, are you owner?? Do up your curtain or blind at your house already? I can go up with you take measurement & give quotation.. Sound scary to me.. I don't know about others??.. Anyway, personally I don't feel comfortable.. I have friends who are Property Agents.. Why they are so poor thing.. Under controlled by Authority this can't that can't!! Why no authority step in to control these contractors!! As I have mentioned in one the reviews here. Some vendors/companies are genuine to earn a living.. Some are just out there to cheat or make consumers confuse!! In which area?? In Pricing.. Cost.. Ridiculous!! As a consumers, I don't even dare to deal business with them!! Straining my eyes.. Looking at those advertisements PASTED & STAMPED in the lift!! Unbelievable!! The price they are offering?!?! Consumers including myself, are we putting our pockets into danger zone when dealing with these vendors/company?? Let us decide.. Cheers

Hi Hazlina, I'm in a midst of renovating my 2 home for investment. Can share the cost you have done up with Kingsley? Do you mind sharing some pictures? I have a company in mind for curtains or blinds already, is my permanent curtain blind contractor. However, I have seen many reviews regarding Kingsley lately. Before, I call up a site visit with him. I would like to know the cost & see their completed work. Do they have a website? Between, went for a relative's house warming today. I seen so many stamping of Kingsley advertisements in the lift.... Wow.. Awaiting for your reply.. TIA.

Nowadays, in curtains & blinds field are too competitive! Many are from Malaysia or Company in Singapore & factory in Malaysia. Sometimes, the price can be as low as is so difficult to believe.. Why?? Price so low?? But.. Sad to mention here.. Some consumers are willing to take this chance to deal with these vendors.. (Some vendors are genuine, some are out there to cheat) Worse still!! Some consumers treat some vendors as FOC to just go on site & give quotation & start comparing quotes here & there!! Hence, consumers can't expect to pay for a price of a bunch of bananas & get a durian!! At the end of the day, consumers may get the worse products, either not a bunch of bananas or a durian!! Why, I'm here today.. I have seen or heard some of my friends or relatives, are doing it! Is rather.. Sigh.. Why like that?? Is ok to compare 2 or 3 quotes.. Consumers, please learn to respect these vendors who are genuine to just earn a living out there. Stop comparing them with those vendors who are out there to cheat or just keen in taking orders only.. But may not deliver on time!! I'm in the midst of renovating my new 2nd & 3rd home.. I'm pretty active in RenoTalk to view many reviews here.. Some are real reviews from consumers.. Some are vendors themselves advertising here.. Haha.. Is mixture of topics in my replies here.. Depend where you come from..

Dear Renotalk Fans, I'm back again. I sincerely would like to give thanks to Joyce (Ong) from J&R CurtainBlind Concept. I have another unit need to do up roller blinds. This time round, I asked for 2 different vendors for quotes, 1 is from contacts I viewed from renotalk, another 1 is from J&R CurtainBlind Concept. I'm very tempted to engage another vendor, which quoted me less than $1500/- for 6sets of outdoor blinds & 6 sets of indoor blinds. During measurement, only the sales person know what he is doing without explaining to myself & hubby. Joyce quoted us around $1900/- for the same quantities of blinds mentioned. Is $400/- different more. However, we decided to engage Joyce. Because is a mutual estate, window shape were odd. Joyce took time to measured & explained in every single details which we need to knows. Dear Renotalk Fans, just to share. Sometimes, is the attitude of the sales person that matters with a reasonable price. My Family, we are very happy with Joyce. Although, we paid for $400/- more. Services & Products are above our expectations. Joyce, once again, thank you. We will be your faithful followers & shall recommed you around.. Cheers.
