Hi, Trying to decide on a gas hob but not sure which is better quality and easy maintenance, stainless steel or ceramic glass. My concern with the ceramic is that it may scratch easy? or that stubborn hardened stains are not easy to remove? Thanks

Hi all, I am clueless as to what is a good quality brand for gas hob, hood, oven, microwave and dishwasher. I went to HN last night to get some ideas and was completely overwhelmed with info and pricing. I'm also not sure if salesman was just trying to sell me the most pricey ones! Can I please get some advice on the above products on which appliance/s they excel in. I'm after quality and not to pay for a name. Also, those with gas hobs on ceramic glass - do they scratch easy? Is it better to get gas hob on stainless steel? Thanks in advance!!
