for the starfruit, got the seeds from my cousin's potted starfruit. from her success story, got courage to follow. u may get the seeds after eating one. i have 2 longan plant also grow from seeds. after eating, just put in the pot to try to grow. tis one no fruits yet. i like to try planting from seeds, more satisfying unless it's very difficult to plant. if u don't try, you never know and you learn thru the process. for citrus fruits, got a lime plant b4 but hor a lot of caterpillars. initally interesting as u see the whole cycle from small to big until pupae but miss the breakout from the pupae stage. in the end, just throw it away. well, enjoy your planting.

Hi plumsource, i have 2 starfruit plants which i planted from seed. last few months enjoying the fruits actually only 3 fruits as my place is very windy and a lot of flowers and fruits dropped (very heart ache). the ones ate were very sweet and fragrance. u just need to put fertilizer regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) but small amt each time to avoid overdose. need to repot if not growing after fertilize regularly. for herbs i have rosemary, very fragance when brushed against the leaves. as i only plant for fun and not to use for cooking, just water a bit but no fertilizer. my corridor is also facing south, thus both starfruit and rosemary are growing very well. hope this will give u the encouragement to try it out.

Hi Mrs Png, why illegal thru toilet huh?? tink quite a few of us do tat leh. for mine - initially aircon guy also suggest thru living rm but id and me rejected as don't want the unsightly trunking in living rm. so in the end, go thru toilet window. nice wall colors. can't wait to see your lights.

Hi rachel79, actually qingming and ghost month also got good dates for shifting. it really depends on you whether you are comfortable with it. if you hv fsm ask him/her for a good date lor.

main reason is due to my chef (aka mom) wants it. actually it's more due to it being more safer than conventional cookers, as old folk tends to be forgetful and clumsy. as for the side effects by magnetic waves, tis i have no idea but then it should not be worse than microwaves oven right? anyway thanks for the magnetic waves info, will look into tis.

me from 79B too but unit facing hdb. u are more welcome to view if you like - let me know. from wat i know there's a slight different in the mbr between front and back unit. me also very tempted to get the electrical applicances due to the yr-end sales but earliest will only shift in Mar08 and electrical applicances price tend to drop especially if there's a new model. in the meantime, will take note of the prices. understand that in Mar there will be another IT fair, so can check the LCD TV. just my personal view. btw which unit u want to look at?

to have storage heater is mainly to have enough pressure for the rainshower. we are normal working class ppl who after a hard day work would like to just have and enjoy a good shower but hdb flats usually do not have enough pressure to faciliate the rainshower. so this is the main reason for the storage heater.

can recommend my fsm to you but abit on the high side ard $600-700. he only speak mandarin and hokkien, his english cannot swim. if still interested, pm me. to share with you some basic procedure (for all fsm): 1) give yr flr plan, hse facing and bazi of whoever staying in the hse to fsm. 2) fsm will give u the layout of bed, stove, sink, tv, etc on the flr plan. 3) flr plan will also include certain items (fs item-crystal, hulo, etc) to place as per yr bazi. (remember to ask why, if don't place what will happen. if item very ex, ask for alternative.) 4) will also give u colors combination accordingly to yr bazi (mine colour only 4-5, so ask what colour i cannot have. this way got more choice mah). pm me if u need any more info, will share with u if know.
