Congrats on starting the Amazon poison. Already finished my 6th order.

Dont be surprise most of the things we bought are from China. Practice due diligence, study more before making purchases. Things made in China are not that bad, just avoid unknown brands. Understood from other forumers, taps, faucets can be used in Singapore.

I estimate the shipping to cost max SGD270. Do not go thru daigou, Amcon is a better option. Risk no doubt is there but this is a Tmall seller, I reckon it would be more secure than TB though. Given the money save, I feel it is still a well calculated risk though. Many had bought sofas from TB and Tmall, items received aint that shabby afterall.

Believe the brand equivalent to Kraus is known as Sellena in Tmall. As for taps, you need to search a bit more.
-
Saw the papa bear chair from TB, approx. SGD900 excluding shipping.
-
Or you all can do group purchase and split the cost, using sea freight, one can save quite a lot if consolidated all together. Provided if one all can wait, norm is approx. 2-3 weeks.

Guys, if help is needed for TB and Tmall, perhaps you can try posting here for help and translation. I believe fellow forumers are more than willing to lend a hand.

Our 温馨 5-Room 小狗窝
OceanEleven replied to lala81's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat - HDB Resale Renovation & Interior Design
Rust will still appear on the welded joint after some time, though not all the pieces. Prices not cheap IMO. But price paid for ease of mind. -
Judging from the recreation room's door, the finishing is NICE. Is it suppose to have a handle? I love that shade of grey. BTW, when is the arcade coming?

Do get some close up shots of the doors. Did you change the frames of the doors as well?

Floor Plan For 5R Unit In Jurong West Street Block 683A-686C?
OceanEleven replied to oat's topic in Living, Dining & Storage
You can buy it directly from HDB. Think cost 5 bucks. http://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BC31ISOP2/BC31SMain -
COV is subjective and there is no limit to it. One have to practice prudence when proceeding. If you deem the COV is unacceptable, you can choose to walk away from it. For eg, an EA, big area of 140m2 up,high floor, corner unit, next to Jurong point, unblock view, child care downstairs, most windows facing the neighborhood park, seller can ask for 120k COV. As long as seller can wait, there is no hurry for him to sell. If he is hard press for cash for his next purchase, he may just ask for 80k COV to let go and can be bargain lower especially if you can take over immediately. Then again, if you are not willing to part with 80k COV, then you have to skip the unit then. Viewing multiple times indicate you are keen on the unit but does not means seller can increases COV. If seller does so, simply walk away then.

Thank you very much indeed. New place ready next Jan. Now actually wanna pick his brain for ideas and then to proceed further. I believe better for both parties to start early, so can plan better, reserve contractors etc and have a better management of schedules. -

Had been "pleading" your hubby for a schedule but his hands are very much tied for weeks to come. Guess have to continue to "pester" him every few days for any last minute time slot. Hope this will not get on his nerves though. Your home is very nice, love the ideas he have. Absolutely astounding. Cheerios -
Though I cant rem your budget but it seems many things are done, Looking at the photos posted, it's like unwrapping a present with much anticipation. One day day to Big Day!! Hope all things are planned and prepare. So going where for honeymoon?

Need All Your Sincere Advises For Mine Hdb (Diy Style)
OceanEleven replied to gamerking1680's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Not that I know of. You may have to confirm with ID, they are in a better position to answer this. Also, they are paid to give us such advice as well. The ID I spoke to, offered this idea. The over all cost is very high in my opinion. Wall mount WC, conceal flushing system, conceal build up for flushing system, redirect of piping etc. Min looking at a few thousands. -

OceanEleven replied to gamerking1680's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Can be done but subject to how and where you wanna change. Have to do wall mount toilet bowl, with a conceal flushing system and piping reconnect to the "outlet". Cost wise, in the Ks. So if budget is a concern, guess you will have to live with it. -
If you have 2D/3D drawing, maybe we can help to brainstorm a little more. BTW do not let your ID coerced into believing nothing can be done. It is just about timing, schedule and cost.

Dont be too hard on yourself, there are many things to consider when make purchases and most of the time cost and aesthetic are focus rather than, size, dimension Had a friend bought a king size bed and ended up the wardrobe cannot be opened fully. Another champion friend gave wrong fridge dimension to ID end up tearing down top and bottom kitchen cabinet to resize. Actually I think the situation still can be salvage, provided you have the time and budget. Since carpentry yet to be delivery and kitchen cabinets come in segments, you can redo the segment where the tap is located. Most of time the dish rack sit above the sink, you can 1) remove the dish rack totally or 2) using a stainless steel single deck draining "shelf" instead.
