from my experience from quartz is that they still experience scratches after use , is it true that iquartz wont scratch even with knife tip?

Hi all My kitchen sink area is leaking badly and I I just gotten a quote for changing of my home kitchen top only Material Black galaxy 15 feet - $100 per foot run . Plus installation and all in all 1900 + nett for Indian granite . Is it reasonable or is there another contractor you guys come across . I want a second quotation . Appreciate for ur help
