I don't think there is any diff for ac/dc pump in terms of installation. I think the main diff is only the noise level. you got it @ sgd268? that is a good deal.

Just bought the smart 18i last weekend, have not install yet but based on review, it come with a DC pump and the noise level will be lower compare to AC pump. Bought @ rm 661 with rain shower head. I will install next month when my reno completed. You want to wait for my review? hehee..
