I come across some feng shui shops previously opened by feng shui masters, now closed. My curiousity is this, if they are good at feng shui and audit for other people's shops, why they have to close down their own?

I think both fengshui and 'ming" plays a part.

Bed Facing Window Vs Bed Under Window
Retiresoon replied to sunshinesally's topic in Geomancy/Fengshui
Many people especially Ang Mo have their bed under the window. -
I keep reading that you see other masters done this method before. Now you refer a book that record such an audit. Do you personally have any experience doing such audit by yourself? If not, I don't see the point of putting this in your posts. If you have, then please share where is this shop that prosper done by you. I don't really believe a shop that face a clash road will prosper.

Fengshui Or Not To Fengshui? -- New Resale Flat - Reno + Movein
Retiresoon replied to faustinet3's topic in Geomancy/Fengshui
Very interesting. Thanks for the video. One part mentioned about the "heart" and by not doing the "bad", then can avoid calamity. In my life, I came across many good people. Give you one example of a real life story. This man very honest and straight. Dare not do anything that violates the law and conscience. Life was very monotonous for him and whole family. No luxuries nor extravagance. Only once a while family outing. He was a believer in buddhism and had an altar at home. He visits temple twice a month faithfully. He used to drive motorbike to work. One day, he got into an accident with heavy injuries. There are and have been many real life stories of good people also ending up in troubles and disasters. Many question marks, isn't it? -
Fengshui Or Not To Fengshui? -- New Resale Flat - Reno + Movein

Its good to discuss this as this kind of questions that always prick my mind. I believe there is destiny. When I look back to the life I have walked, there were many things which I couldn't defy. When a bazi master told me certain events of my past, I was surprise that it was there. So this is not onlyfrom me but many of my friends and close ones encountered the same. Why the bazi master can read what happened in my past which means this was there and inescapable. The same question was posted to the master and he replied in a very profound way. I was unable to comprehend even until now. So Mr Kcwee has his point. Between destiny and the will of God. For anyone who believes in god (especially christianity), I understand from my christians friends that god give them free will. I suppose this freewill also encompass the right to live and die. That means the person can choose when to live and when to die. By smoking excessively or taking drugs or J-walking, I suppose we chose out paths in freedom. By doing the contrary, we will be able to survive longer. Is it true? Any comments to share? However, this totally contradicts destiny which in fact destined the person to take drugs or get injured. Even when the person choose to use a traffic light, he still get injured. When a master is able to predict this, it puts a lot of question marks. -

I can read that there are people who are reluctant to share and there are people who have the inability to share. End up we don't benefit from reading. Cheers. -
Fengshui Advice Needed! Is The Fengshui Of This Flat Ok?
Retiresoon replied to Weggie's topic in Geomancy/Fengshui
I have commonly read about this too. How true is it can only be found out by yourself as time goes. Worth to take the risks? Well, I think its up to individual. However, as a matter of fact, Singapore properties are not cheap, its better that you find a fsm with good knowledge to advise you rather than to listen to some people in the forums. Our views are base on our experience. How much experience do we have that is worth for you to take into consideration? -
Thanks for sharing, Ivy. I have something to share too. I have ever engaged a fsm that said will give the report of the audit in a week. One week passed, no news. Gave another 2 days before I emailed to the fsm. Said that has already sent me. Well then, I accepted and asked to send again. End of the day, I get the report and the date was on that day. It did not reflect a forwarded message nor an email dated a week ago. What did this indicate? Honesty to me is very important in order for me to entrust my house changes to a person's advise. I have 2 thoughts in this. a) This fsm has not sufficient knowledge or capabilities to advise his customer at his house immediately. Why need to go back to do? If I engage you (fsm) of your time and you should be able to give the diagnosis. Just like a doctor. He won't say, let me come back to you in a week on the prescriptions. Do you all agree with me? I guess this type of fsm, whatever excuse they have, simply don't have the knowledge to commit into a responsive consultation at that point of time due to their lack (or uncertainty) of knowledge or experience. They most probably need to go back to refer notes or ask their master. How hard it is to give a report on the spot? I wonder. In addition, why so many days. Is it busy attending to other appts, then its even not fair. I paid the fee and why should I wait so long? b) By not giving me my report immediately, I have all my ID/ contractor stuck right at the end of the line. Bear in mind, even if I have the report I still need time to digest and clarify before discussing with my ID. I will say, avoid this type of fsm. c) I believe, most new fsms or inexperience ones cannot tell how the unit affects the owner. When the fsm stepped into my house, they were no comments as to what was exactly my problem until I have to ask him to give some comments. Well, shock of course when the fsm commented the house affected my financial. On the contrary, I didn't have such problem. Finally, I don't understand why these fsms have no shame about what their doing to other people's livelihood. Please comment and share my thoughts if you have such experience.

Discussion as such is healthy as long as there are no insults or offending another's religion. I have quite some questions about various religions also. The questions brought out here have also been long in my mind. It will be great if there are answers to it. -

It seems like 168 prosperity gallery unable to explain the dates that they put up in their website, why they are good or so called auspicious. Silence meaning don't know? Bepgeof also asked them to explain 168 prosperity gallery pinned post. There was no reply?? Kcwee, maybe you can help to explain -
Definitely agree. I will never let a young man come into my house and tell me what to do. Its been proven that even though young people may have knowledge, they lack the experience. There are many things in life, they may not be expose to it. In addition, they may not have the experience enough to advise people.

I'm curious also. Will be good to have some explanation here about the dates. -
Hi kcwee, thanks for the information. I came across some websites that never talk about the methods they use. How do we know that they are knowledgeable? Even if they indicate the methods they use, how do we know if they really know they are experts?
-
Mind over matter? How many people can do that? Once I saw a master bent a spoon with his mind. On another occasion, I saw a magician demonstrate the same. Hmm, this sets me thinking
-
KC wee, I have been following some of these posts. Not sure about other forum people but I felt that you have made your point. I also hope to learn and understand from a layman point of view. How much does a stove contributes to the house feng shui?
-
I do picked up some fs knowledge along the way. I think as a consumer, we also need to know what exactly a master is doing in our house. I agree with kcwee that the stove placement is not as simple as following the timely mountain star. What kswee indicated was also mentioned by my course master but was stopped short of explaining further. A house is where I'll spend much of my time in it. Whether be it myths or tradition or feng shui, it has already been long passed down that stove should not face a water basin. I think Kcwee's explanation is good for consumers like us to have more caution. Hope he can share more.
