  1. Think so. All these could be negotiated, but the painter should be coming more than once in general.
  2. I tried this before (actually quite many years ago) and the result is pretty good. It is much cheaper as no hacking etc involved. But do note that there are dis-advantages: you can only spray on existing tiles (and even pipes!), but not wall; hence, if any change in the kitchen size will need to be carefully studied. Another more crucial point is about the water proof. Some renovation is done because of water leakage. As spraying is not going to renew the waterproof membrane, there is chance of water leakage. Some contractors said that for flats over 10 years life are better off to renew the water proof system.
  3. The painter has to come more than one time. The last time he come will be doing touch-up. You may tell him what you are going to do, and the painter has to figure out which times he has to come in. IMO, he has to come in at least two to three times.
  4. it is troublesome to detach it, and yet I didn't keep the invoice (purchased for a few years). do not bother to go anyway.
  5. We bought Song-cho products claimed to be stainless steel, using in bathroom but at the end, it still rusted. If I am not mistaken, it is life guarantee. But we didn't bring to claim anyway.
