For many that wondered how my hanging rods are like in my WIW, I got them from taobao too. Our inspiration is actually from boutique shops and I actually decide to have this to save cost on pole system which we were quoted for about 6k previously. If you guys still remember that i'm trying to DIY the small curtain for both toilets.. Its finally completed!! And i kinda miss sewing now. Hehe. We recycled the 2 rods that was used for painting, hubby saw them into 2 pieces. Then we bought fabrics from Ikea: Sewing starts =) The look in common toilet: MBR toilet: We used fishing line to tied the rod to the mesh. Fishing line nowadays is so hard to find! We went all the way to Changi Village to get them.

Just in case many of you are wondering where's my opening of WIW. Here's the pic! Red = Sealed Blue = New opening. Basically, is changing the door from right to the left side as being this way, the entry is still within MBR. Edmund has change the swinging direction of the MBR door so that the MBR door doesn't block the WIW door.

Another side of my kitchen! Glossy white laminates, easy to maintain! Any stain, i can easily just wipe it off =))) But not easily stain la, i hardly wipe them. I'm using Turbo hood and hod, and yes, a glass hob! My quotation is inclusive of hood and hob. I have never cook for my entire life, but ever since moving in, I've been cooking for like almost 5 times a week (still learning by the way, hehe). Like many who has heard stories about shattered glass hob, I think I may have over worried in the beginning . LOL, heard stories like while you are cooking, water cannot drip on the hob otherwise it will crack . But nope, so far so good . And for those, who are still considering whether to get a cooker hood. IMO, save the money! I hardly use them, kinda waste electricity also.

And finally, my breakfast counter has the high chair! We have our daily breakfast and coffee on this area. Love it! I'm not quite sure the shipping fees for this particular item as i bought few items at a go. For sure, the side table's packaging is pretty small. If u r going to purchase big items like sofa and dinning table, maybe you can use amcon? I have not personally used amcon before but i think its pretty worth it to ship big things with them. We have no headboard for the MBR and our bed is lying on the platform. Basically the MBR is only a bed and a fan (pretty empty) Hehe.. We were quoted 700 - 1k for quilted/cushion customised 5ft headboard. Expensive to get customised things Initially, we have this planning to DIY a headboard. Ideas from Pinterest. You buy the foam, fabric and board, get the hot glue gun and some fabric staplers to do it. Its too much work to do it Give up on plans. So i got this from TB: I bought 8pcs measured by 40*40 each. The results: I'm still deciding if i should get the whole wall up.. Would it be too overwhelming? We didn't glue them onto the wall just in case we wanna change them in future. We bought the 3M tapes. One gentle reminder, please get the heavty duty ones!! We spend alot of $$ on the tapes, as initially we bought the small ones, it didn't stick quite well (even though its only 600g per piece).
