  8. Hi InTheHouse, Do we need special door frames for sliding doors like yours? I was thinking of using the existing frame...not sure if its possible. (I did not opt for doors for my new flat)

Half shower screen looks like a really good idea...there is really no need to enclose ourselves entirely when bathing if the purpose is really to avoid splashing water all over the dry area of the toilet. Half a screen with shower kerb should do the job... This also eliminates the possibility of having a spoilt door, corroded swivel etc.... Bravo... I hope lesser glass also means its cheaper to construct?

  13. Why not? There are paint available in the market that can paint over the window frame... There are videos in YouTube teaching us how to paint window frames... Check it out...
  14. My fren's place used the same color vinyl tiles... its true that it doesn't look good on pictures... but when looking at it 'live", it gives a very cosy vintage look....
  15. I still fancy the raw 80s light grey very very slightly cloudy cement screed look...its so timeless.... it's like wood flooring....never go out of style... =)

  18. Thanks Vicx, In the case I will put a deposit for the tiles even before I finalise my contractor so as to cater for the lead time to wait for the tiles..... The shade of the cement screed look is impt... I will not settle for other shades if it's not wad I want... =) thank you so much....
  19. but I doubt any tiler will bother to come back to touch up the grout....unless the charges is high/worth it enuff for them to do such small jobs...
