Hi all, I registered this account just to recommend Mr. Aron Putt's service. Found him two years back also from renotalk after digesting mountains of data and sent him an inquiry. HIs response was quick and he was patient enough to answer my long list of questions in rounds of conversations. I then bought a Panasonic Inverter 3 from him, in May 2010. Everything was fine until a couple of days ago when a general service found that the drainage pipe was not properly connected to the outlet that caused a leakage of water in the trunking and a direct flow of water onto the aircon ledge. To fix it the contractor quoted $xx. Moreover they also suggested a top-up of gas for $1xx. Afraid I might be chopped like a carrot, I tried contacting Aron. His reply was quick as two years ago, in which he told me he's moved on to another company and suggested me to call the installer who did the work and would be most familiar with the work. It was quite annoying that the installer wanted to charge me $80+ for a site survey, claiming it's out of warranty, even though it's highly probable that it's a poor workmanship problem. I then conveyed the message to Aron, stating that I'd to find another contractor to check it out. To my surprise Aron volunteered to send his installation team over to take a look, for free so that I don't feel like being held ransom. The team, led by Mr. Ah Boon, came during dinner time yesterday. He quickly identified the problem and started to work on it when I asked how much it would cost. To my surprise, again, he said it's just a minor work and he can do it for free! His team was productive enough to get the work done 10 minutes. He then helped me take a reading on the gas pressure. To my surprise, yet again, he said the level was fine and no top-up is needed! I am so impressed by Aron and his team. He is trustworthy, taking the extra mile to clean up the mess for his former employer which makes me feel like I've got a warranty for life long. I've therefore registered this account to convey my gratitude here and to let more fellow forumers know about Aron and his quality service. And be careful, guys, there are always contractors out there waiting every minute for a chance to chop chop chop you like a carrot! happy renovating!
