I've just moved into my resale unit after few months of frustration and anger due to an irresponsible ID. Fortunately along the way, I managed to experience really good and quality services by some who helped me finished up the remaining work. I'm not getting anything out of these but just want to share contacts of these good service providers. Contractors: Mr Lim (9099 1492)- mild mannered, efficient. He helped me with some small jobs and gave me some good advice.. E.g I wanted to hack off a display shelf and he advised against saying that the display shelf is of v good quality and its a pity.. Shd just get someone to lacquer.. I did so n it really turns out as good as new. Ah Hua (9247 6639) Very responsible. Can only speak mandarin. Electrician Thomas (9237 5535) Very friendly guy and he helped me to finish some leftover jobs left by previous ID. Though its really minor works but he still take it up. Clean and neat works. Curtains Mr Ho (9855 5025) Highly recommend this guy. Pricing is affordable and quality is quite good. He is also a contractor apparently. When he was installing some blinds for me.. I asked him to help me drill n there and no questions asked he just helped. Even offer to help me buy long ladder due to my high ceiling as he said its hard for me to buy without a truck.

We were busy with the moving stuff. But we intend to do so. I found another victim using the same ID. She had already lodged report with Case.

I can totally understand... I was being too kind and harbour thoughts that maybe he will still do the job.. But I think once their attitude sucks... They are unlikely to change and you just have to live with it till completion ( maybe months later) or simply just disappear.. Such cases whereby they keep asking for money but never do or start work , most likely they use your money to fund older projects. I look back and kick myself for being so silly. Should have just quit him earlier and move on.

I had an ID just like that. Refused to pick up calls .. Kept telling me electricians coming today, glass coming this day, carpentry coming another day... All lies... They never came.. It was a painful 4 months. The frustration , the agony.. Some more ruin my bedroom flooring shd got to replace all.. Delay n delay till I got to extend my lease... We just moved in only and still in midst of Reno. Have passed on remaining work to another contractor.. Very responsible guy. I suggest you cut loss and move on to get someone else to do the job. Then go case n small claims tribunal to lodge report with your contract ,email, SMS evidence etc. good luck.

I cannot agree more. Mine was recommended by a close relative and it was a living nightmare. I had been too trusting and it backfired on me. Now still clearing up the mess caused by them.
