  1. hey pills are those paintings of homer and marge? i cant see really clear from the pic. if they are where did you get them from? cheers!
  2. you can also take a look at this bedframe: http://www.picketandrail.com/collections/chicago/products/chicago-bed-with-drawers we got this for our place, and now thinking that since yours is a industrial theme, might fit in just for reference/consideration. cheers
  3. thanks will drop by then on a quiet night since they are 24 hours we actually got the mistral one along with the iona. ended up buying 3 different fans haha hanafi, if you are still looking for old school wires like these: wires i found them in a shop around the neighbourhood, let me know if you want the exact address. separately also to share for anyone looking for diamond clocks or old tengkat like these: tengkat you can check them out at http://facebook.com/ini.sukasuka we are expecting most of the reno to be done in about 2 weeks time..fingers cross as our furniture are all coming in by the 31st! exciting times ahead.
  4. good progress! we saw the same piece of sofa from mountain teak, great choice. im sure will fit well into your theme.
  5. to go with the theme of the place, we were specific in looking for the fans that we wanted. bladeless dysons are out for us, so we went on a old school look fan hunt & found 3 of them! first 2 were gotten from courts which was having discount for them fan2 fan 3 the last one we got was a elusive iona one which took us a while to find. it was listed that Tangs and HN carries them, but when we got there they didnt have them. the wtb was adamant on finding it and wrote to the distributor directly. we finally found it and got it directly from them at a really good price for 38.50. it didnt come with a box, as they were doing a clearance due to damage boxes, which was why we couldnt find them in the stores. comes with a 1 year warranty. the service there pissed me off a little when they tried to smoke me by saying its the only piece on display, but upon saying that i needed 2 they said that there was another piece. and when we spoke with what was the person in charge, she explained that she had alot to clear due to the damage packaging. we ended up only getting one as they couldnt assemble the other one in time, since we obviously refuse to pick up the dent piece on display. heres the pic: fan we might head back for one more in future.
  6. hey beng just double check tt light was 28 bucks. here's a shot of it light up in the bomb shelter. bomb shelter
  7. van, i got the saucers from a stash my mum found in the kitchen cabinet. yea i heard from sarah, im surprised it was gone so fast. hey thanks! lucky for my my wtb was into vintage and old stuff as well haha. ph5 replica from light+form at balestier. pingpong bowls from sarah and unfortunately i dont have the spoons yet. those were found by sarah online i think, so now all my ping pong players got no 'bats'. side note: if anyone looking for a cheap sofa bed 9 more hours to go. just got one for the common room. http://www.deal.com.sg/deals/singapore/courts-singapore-only-129-fuze-sofa-bed-courts-megastore-choice-brown-black cheers!
  8. thanks for the info will go check it out at daiso. no prob haha. i actually have a few that i bought purely just for the ceiling rose. if u are ok with having them without the ceiling rose i can pass them to you not a prob. just give me a shout. i will go over to make sure they are still around in the store. hey beng i got them from hock eng hin at tiong bahru. just across the market. the opening mechanism is pretty old school, and the cage is metal not plastic. if my memory serves me right its abt 20 odd dollars, i can check again the receipt and let you know. wa lao sarah like tt i need to go find some fishballs to complete as ping pong balls liao.
  9. hey hanajed, i got it from ikea. they were going for 3.90 or 4.90 can remember the exact amount. comes with a ceiling rose as well.

  11. such clean lines on the table, nice!
  12. no worries! yea we went with aluminum as we thought that it will be better in terms of water and corrosion resistance. as i din opt in for the door from HDB, i always have the impression that the ones they provide are wood. i might be wrong though i seen in someone's t-blog where it was a two piece lourve door, which i thought look really good as well. opens in the middle, that way saves some space too. hope you can get the double leaf aluminum door. a close up shot for @huiying on the blackboard wall: blackboard chalk since we painted on the walk with the chalk board paint, we wont expect a smooth flat surface. we played a tic-tac-toe over the weekend..and as with all tic-tac-toe it ends in a draw... the cleaning part does leave some chalk stains on the wall, however that's with us cleaning with tissue. we cant find a duster, even at artfriend. guess no one uses blackboards anymore drawers are up in the kitchen: drawers and we have the carpentry done for both the sauce drawer on both sides of the oven: oven carpentry 2 this is currently my fave corner with the vents and the nestum light, sorry for the poor quality photo. the shadow off the ventilation bricks against the wall was pretty cool, just that my phone cldnt take a decent shot of it. ventilation nestum looking forward to the capentry to be done in the kitchen!
  13. hey hanafi good eyes la u like tt also can tell its aluminum! lemme drop u a PM on the cost.
  14. amidst a minor lost delivery hiccup we finally got the doors up for the bedrooms and toilets: room door and the sink is up in the master bedroom as well: master sink to relief from the lost delivery fustration we went into a assam craze at robinsons sales: assam and also a bin craze: bin the savings substantial at the robinsons sales we must say, getting our bedsheets, wok, towels etc..burnt the pocket but thinking of the savings helps abit
