  1. Hi reload, it might not happen to you. So no need to over stress yourself. Just ensure that your ID promise you the tiles will be replaced if such things happen. And must not be soft-hearted. As for our situation, we just wanna be sure there are no other alternative solution before we start to make demands! !!
  2. Hi ppl, the image of a section of the tiles for my house... the dull greyish + yellowish stains starts from the grout line and spread towards the centre of the tile....more obvious on the right...HELP!!
  3. Hi Bullet, the supplier did recommend some specialist that "may" be able to wash away the stains. But it "may" also not work. I'll keep the name of the supplier under wraps first to be fair to them as we look for a solution. But in the mean time, do let me know of the solution if you can remember or find out. Hi Cha, I'll try to take a photo and post it here. But its a bit hard to see in the pics due to the refection of the tiles. Hi Devilaz, nope no oily or wax feel to it. And the problem is, you dn't feel a rough or bumpy feel of the stain. The stains just look greyish, yellowish in colour that spreads from the grout line towards the centre of the tile...but gets faintier as it spreads...more prominent along the grout lines...and worse, it doesn't look to be on the surface.....
  4. Hello home lovers! I've got a major problem with my homo tiles. The reno of our future home is almost done except for the Homo tiles. What we've used are high gloss tiles thats almost white in color. Everything seems fine as we cannot really see the tiles as they were under the protection sheets. But the heart breaking sight was when after the protection sheets were removed and a round of cleaning done on the tiles! Dull greyish stains appeared along the grout lines. And its not just for a few pieces of tiles. The whole house was affected. Some stains were more obvious than others and it doesn't help when we switch on our lights at night. We told our ID about this and he brought in the tilers and tile supplier for inspection. The tiler balme the tiles for being this way while the supplier said he withness such cases before but can't help it cause its a matter of luck. Even if retile, might happen again! For your information, I paid $3.80psf for the tiles and I dn't think its really cheapo stuff. So instead of starting the blaming game, I will like to seek some advice first. Does anyone know of anyway i can remove the stains? The stains seems to spread from the grout lines towards the centre of the tiles and seems more obvious near the grout lines. Any advice please...my hubby has been getting sleepless nights and it hurts when i see him w panda eyes every morning...pls help...
  5. Hi there, We went there on recommendation from frds. They do look professional and I believe their design sense is good. Was served by the boss and he did gave good ideas. But do note that their quote might be higher than other IDs. Cause we did a comparison with another ID and opted for the later. But do go visit and get ideas. If you like what you see and feel good about them, do get ready to bargain! Cheers!

  7. Hi ppl, I bought the 37" R8 series for 2299 during the show. 3 yr warranty w free gifts. For those whos missed the show, try bargaining with the neighbourhood stores. I'm sure can get the best price since we already know how much lower Smasung can go! teddy
  8. Hi Guys, Went to the PC show on Saturday since I was visiting my ID at Marina Sq. Thought it will be just a "see see look look" session...end up buying the Samsung R81 37" Bordeux Plus. Price was 2299 w choice of free gift, which i think is quite decent. What attracts me is the 3 year extended warranty that I think is a bonus. Teddy
  9. Hi, Anybody went overseas to do their photo shoots? I wonder if it cost a lot and the effect is worth it. Thanks!!

  12. Hello Folks! Was at Ingenious Design (Marina Bay) a couple of days back. One of the sisters and another co-ordinator attended to me and I got a good vibe about them. No hard sell which is a plus and willing to listen to my ideas before following up with constructive feedbacks. Just wanna know if anyone used their services before or have any comment on them? Any input will be appreciated! Cheers! teddy
  13. Hi, Does any have any experience with this ID at HDB Hub? I went to them and feel that they are very hard sell. Also, they seem to promise a lot of high quality products, such as granite. Thanks!!
