Hi all, juz to check, if anyone of you here actually do a fumigation (pest control) before you start your reno,move in ? I m considering doing it for a peace of mind as the resale unit is 33 yrs old.. My fren juz scare me that he has purchase a bug infested flat and requires 3 round of fumigation b4 the whole eps ends.

Woha! Finally went for first appt today! And manage to nego with hdb officer for 5.5wks completion, instead of the usual 6wks. Also nego with seller to receive the key 5 wks later. Only to know previous owner didn't take the lightning and I had purchase 2 new ones. Pondering to change or not to change.... Now super looking forward to the key handover in 5 wks time.hopefully , the flat is in good condition as we first saw.... Along the way, we also decide to do away with all the custom made build in.we gone juz buy off the shelf as our cashflow is reali tight.... no more nice tv console, no storeroom.....

i view 11units and one of which I view twice, but hand is slow and was sold before I could counter offer. Settled on the 11th unit and exercise the OTP on the spot. I spend 20 mins viewing the flat. Extremly comfy with the hse although it was a mid flr. This is what I called fated And we are the 1st couple to view the flat. All previous 10 units I saw is high floor - btw 8th flr to 12 flr.

But from pic ..condition looks good wor...main gate and door looks new... I like the pigeon hole next to ur main gate..lol
