Lots of activities going on today. Confirming electrical points with electrician, reconstructing wall, preparing kitchen wall for screeding, wall screeding for mbr and cbr, removing old air con..gotta thank my ids for staying there whole day to make sure everything went smoothly as planned. He also arranged tiler to come on sat and sun to do cement work I took up an air con package from Aron and ah boon whom many recommended in this forum. It's quite a problem when u need to contact them. I think they are too busy with many projects on hand..today I waited from 10am to 1pm at site but they didn't turn up. Called them also no ans. Later at abt 1+ received msg from ah boon that he will come over ard 4-5pm..3 of them arrived and they removed all my old air con and piping. Also confirmed the piping layout for the new installation. That's one of my id checking out the tiler's work.

50 pairs! Hmm I think u probably need a bigger cabinet or create slanting shelves to make use of every space inside.FYI, my cabinet is 4.5ft wide. Each door width is 1.5ft. Actually I'm still unsure how many shoes I can squeeze in. I'll probably add another cabinet outside the main entrance.

Hi oceaneleven, yes shoe cabinet. Internal sud look something like the sketch below..sorry for my lousy drawing But I intend to keep shoes in bottom cabinet only. Top cabinet shelves removable and can be used for storage. Right side for umbrellas.

Tolix chair from taobao. "Distressed". My parents saw this and were like "How come damaged so fast??!" Lol The dimensions are identical to the original Tolix design. A lot of cafes are using this now and makes me kinda regret this buy in terms of aesthetics since it's so common. It's really comfortable IMO. Nice chair. Soonliew, quote is base on $280 per trip, per 15 ft truck load base on lift level. You might also consider hup hing. They are slight cheaper at $250 with 15ft truck and they also offer 10ft truck at $180 if your load is small. I decided to go with yongshen as they are nearer to my place

Really sorry to the neighbours.... hacking started one hour earlier just now. Photos updated from id. Protection lay on the floor. This wall has to go. Previous owner hacked it to make the living room bigger. Need to reconstruct back to the original layout.

Thanks soonliew and zihui... yes i think it will be really nice living just next to your own family members. Keeping fingers crossed for a smooth journey too..as schedule will be a bit packed. Target to complete reno and move in by 12 Nov which is abt 5 weeks from now. We are taking dinner at my bro's hse mon to fri. Will also check out the progress of reno and update here according

Altar for guanyin Dining table and chairs Washer. Initially we got a top loader but due to the protruding beam at the laundry area, we will not be able to open the top cover fully. So we made a change to a front loader. Has not use a front loader before.. Next up, 3d drawings ^^
