i second that too! Those guys @ Colours of the wall are great! Good art pieces @ resonable price. No hard selling and they give good and practical advise on which art pieces will match your wall colours...flooring colours..etc. Dave was the guy who served me and i was really impressed with his service (he even volunteered to send my paintings in 2 deliveries because one of them will take another 2-3weeks to be delivered). They are open every saturdays, so for those who are looking for art pieces, no harm dropping by to take a look there..

Seems like it's tough getting FOCs from Kelvin liao. Just heard from him, one of his owner played him out(this owner gotten alot of FOCs from kelvin after commited Gplan's basic package + additonal items. Midway throughout the renovation, he/she decided to take only the basic package but yet the FOC items was already done up for him/her.) In the end, heard that kelvin kena by his boss. Was warned not to give any more FOCs to customer. As we know Kelvin always go the extra mile in beautifying owners' house by digging deep into his own pocket. And now, he can't do all these FOCs liao(because of this one-off 'unfortunate' incident)

I'm not too sure also leh. My HDB officer just told me that my keys collection is delayed due to that they need to change my main door which is outta stock at the moment. HDB officer have emailed me that my key collection should be on 10Oct.

my neighbour who booked a unit above me, have already started their renovation since last mth. They booked their unit in May

Hi Sis, Thanks for the headup! I've gotten a reply from my hdb officer Dear Albert, The Branch Office has feedbacked that the main door needs to be replaced and the order has not come in yet. They estimate the works can only to be completed by 19 Oct 2007. I've same situation as you bigsister67, I've just sold my existing unit too (i purposely delayed my selling till near end sep becaus that's what advised by HDB for my keys collection). Right now, they holding back handing me the keys because of a 'door'? I told them i need a roof for my 1year old son and a 70yr old father-in-law! The HDB officer will check to see if she can hand me the keys first, while the door can come and be fixed later (That was actually proposed by me, so she's checking if it can be arranged) She'll get back to me today, let's hope for good news
