Huh... i will be collecting keys on 16 Aug 07 & it falls on the 4th day of seventh month, i hv to wait for 1 month den can open door... Die le...

Once we collect the keys, we have to check for defects right? Any idea how long do we need to submit to HDB?

Just scatter grains & sand?

My husb & I intend to have 4-faced buddha in our flat... Heard from frens that 4-faced buddha has to be placed outside the house which is near the door... We intend to put at the balcony as our flat's layout is once u enter the main door, is the balcony already but shoe cabinent will be at the balcony too.. Isit disrespectful?... Also, we need to need to "house" the buddha too... so it has to be suspended in the air too... Need some advice

So is must be house moving or reno completion, can it be like after collect the keys or before reno, we ask the monk to come & look at the house to see if any problem anot... e.g. "something" that is not right?

Hi Mace, You were saying abt getting a monk to bless/cleanse the house... I was thinking of doing this cos mine is a RP flat & i do not know abt the history of the flat... i think i shld get a monk before i start reno... Any idea how to go abt it?

Can I say that we can ask HDB to:- 1) Change the tiles for kitchen & toliet 2) Change toilet bowl & sink 3) Re-paint or replaster the whole house 4) Remove kitchen cabinents 5) Plaster the window grills 6) Clean up the unit Is ther anything i missed out? Do advise pls...

What are the things that we can ask HDB to do at 0 cost if we buy RP flats huh?

Maybe HDB engaged contractor to touch up the house b4 handling to the new owner... then they forget to close the window... A unit just below my current house is also in this WIS scheme. A month ago, there was drilling, painting, knocking, etc... my mum thot someone bought the house & reno, later then know the house is up for grab...
