hi all, seems to me most of the layout of 2-room BTO flats have the bomb shelter at one corner of the house in the living room. here's one which is different with the BS right smack in the middle of the house, thereby making all the rooms rectangular. not sure about the pros and cons of this layout compared to the others though... -

hi... i've heard many times that if two units face each other directly it's considered bad fengshui. is there any fengshui cure for this situation? thanks -

Hi... would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me... during Sale of Balance Flats HDB website only indicates the general area in which the unit is located... is there any way to know the exact address? at least the name of the BTO project when the unit was released during the BTO exercise? thanks -

hi May, finally finished reading your blog. thanks for sharing tips and your reno experience. if it's not too much trouble I'd like to have Andrew's contact. heard about some contractors rejecting small budget reno so keeping my fingers crossed! thanks! -
hi... i've been using instant electric heater for the past 20 years and frankly i'm not sure if i would make any changes in future. however, my new bto flat comes with hot and cold water pipes and wonder if i can still use instant electric heater. how would the pipes fit to the heater? thanks..

hello theitsybits, thanks for sharing your reno journey. spent the past couple of days reading your blog. your creativity is inspiring while the ordeal with your carpenter is most infuriating! in any case it's been enjoyable to see your new flat being transformed into a dream habitat... if it's not too much trouble (I know there's been a lot of similar requests) could you please pm me Mr K's contact? would like to know the name of your carpenter and his company too. would avoid him like the plague! thanks!
