Wow! Very nice place, especially the kitchen! Just realised that we have the same fridge.

Thanks, Chunky! I see that your renovation just started so here's wishing you a smooth and uneventful renovation process. Yours looks like a complete make-over. Can't wait to see the result!!

Thanks for the comments so far. Here are pictures of my hall and dining area. Dining Table with 4 chairs Wedding Rings Sofa & Coffee Table Finally moved in on the 14th Oct. The last 2 weeks have really been hectic. Spent lots of time in unpacking and packing and cleaning and cleaning and more cleaning. Where does all the dust come from so quickly? Friends have advised that normally after reno there will be a lot of dust and it will usually take continual cleaning over a preiod of a month to get rid of most of the dust eventually. Anybody have a similar experince to share? Been trying to settle down to a routine and have been exploring the neighbourhood. Very happy cos got lots of shops and food around. There is a 24hr Shop & Save and a 24hr Indian food shop that sells prata just 5 min walk away. Hawker Centre and Wet Market and Town Council are just diagonally opposite my block.

The warranty is a 2 year international warranty that will be honored by the local Epson.

Am interested to hear what you think of the upscaling capabilities of the projector compared to your receiver.
-
Hi fteocs Have you considered ordering your projector from Price Japan? You can get a better price.

Yes, you have a sharp eye. I am matching it with a Onkyo TX-SR875 and pre-out to my existing stereo system

Thanks! My ID is Revo Design. http://www.revodesign.com.sg/ The flooring for my MBR is short stripped parquet aligned with the length of the room. I spent about $40K+ on renovations. I just took this photo from my balcony this evening.

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?
Light replied to tientien's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
LOL!! In that case, can consider that concept. Worse come to worst, you can still have the option to install windows or suction fan at some later stage. Thanks, babyQ. My contractor got his window sub-con to do it for me. As I mentioned earlier, the cost is bundled together with the rest of my windows, so I have no idea how much for the installation of suction fan. Actually, I think Mace has given a good contact. You should check it out. -
Haha...I guess only hi-fi or home theatre nuts might recognise these. They are just gadgets for connecting and hiding your home theatre system cabling and to allow you to switch between your different sources like DVD player, SCV set top box, PS3, XBox, etc....

Wanted to post up more pictures of my place but no time to take pics this weekend. Here are some pics of my home theatre accessories which I bought in preperation of my renovation.

The tiles are shaped that way. They have a gradual, wavy or corrugated form. 3 waves per tile. When you line them up horizontally, they give you that feel. I like the waves to be horizontal rather than verticle as it makes the bathroom feel bigger or wider than it really is.

I second that recommendation. Light Craft sells copies of designer lamps at a fraction of the original price. Can also try Ikea.

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?
Light replied to tientien's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
The wiring is straight forward. Any electrician worth their salt should be able to do it, just connect the light and the fan in series. Regarding the piece of perspex mounted over louvre windows, I find that there is some redundancy. Either have the window replaced with a piece of perspex fitted with the fan or just have a louvre window. $350 is indeed a rip-off. Please ask around for more quotes. A completely "open" window does indeed provide more potential for ventilation than a louvre window, for example. But don't forget that ventilation also depends on the movement of air. On a hot humid day with no breeze, a big open window also no use. But I must admit that having a completely "open" window is quite daring. How do you overcome the privacy issue and the possible shyness of guests who have to use the toilet, given that the opening faces your service yard? -
Errr...dunno if it is from Besglass...contractor source one. Yes, the round thing is the handle, doesn't feel loose. It came as it is. I believe you can use commercially available polishers like Autosol or maybe even zippo lighter fluid to polish it more if you like. Did not get the WC from Lookz even though they had that design. In fact, I got it from a neighbourhood hardware store. This design is quite common....saw it Genova and a few other places as well.

Thanks! That's a pomeranian in my avater. Will post pics of him later on. But for now....my common toilet/bathroom...

Same feel? I don't think so...after all, it is only laminate. It just looks the same. The cabinet joints are made of ABS trimming, if that is what you are asking. Wah!! Really arh? Because of kitchen don't move out....sure or not?
-
Thanks! The kitchen cabinet surface is a semi-glossy laminate which has a stainless steel colour and finish. I must admit that we chose the fridge partially because the finish matched the kitchen cabinet. We tried our darndest to get a washing machine matching our budget and has the functionalities we were looking for to have a grey or stainless finish as well to complete the look....BUT NO.....we couldn't. So we ended up with a white coloured washing machine. Oh God.....the things we do.

Our kitchen top is bisected unequally near the end by a boxed-up area to conceal a pipe. Therefore, we got one long and one short strip to match the length of the kitchen top. The Eubiq strips were my wife's idea. We are quite pleased with how well it turned out.

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?
Light replied to tientien's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
For mine, I asked the electrician to wire it on the same circuit as the bathroom light....so whenever I turn on the bathroom light, the fan will be turned on as well. The fans cost around $58 each(quoting the price for the 8 inch one, forgot the how much the 6 inch one costs). As for the window installation, am not able to tell because my contractor bundled it together with the cost of all other windows. But it shouldn't cost that much more than $200 for both. Anyway, just go and pester your id to get the permit and do it lah. I will let the rest of the people here who have installed the suction fan and have live with it to extol the virtues of having one. The fan is not as expensive as you think. The window and installation will typically cost more than the fan...unless you are referring to the KDK Senso ventilation fan.....which is a total rip-off, IMHO. -
There will be a glass panel between the MBR and the Balcony. The wall tiles are actually more grey with a bit of shimmer...will take a picture under better lighting next time to post. Ok...managed to take pictures of the suction fan which I installed in both bathroom/toilet. The suction fans are turned on whenever the toilet is turned on. They can be turned off simply by closing the shutter behind the fan.

ok...here are some shots of the renovation in progress. As you can see, we hacked away one room to enlarge the hall. We also hacked the wall between my MBR and the Balcony. The wall adjoining the kitchen corner and the foyer.
