We know we wanted a unit that is 1. High floor 2. Corner 3. Balcony. Simple right? Noooo...... amazingly and sadly, we found out point 3 is the most difficult point to find. Almost 95% of the units we viewed had their balcony converted to a bedroom or became part of the living room We fall in love with this unit after viewing more than 30 units. Ahhh... but there was a problem.... the previous owner hacked away the storeroom! I couldn't imagine life without a storeroom. A storeroom is a life saver! Anything I want it hidden, storeroom it goes! So we decided to create a storeroom right at the enclave area beside the dining area. Plan plan plan....

Thank you everyone! Actually, my renovation almost completed. During the renovation, simply no time to post any blog. Can only come here to look and gather information and tips. Learn alot here. Nothing beats real personal experience. Now that it is almost done, I thought I would share our journey. We renovated in 3 weeks time and without an ID (trying to save $$), my hubby and I had to co-ordinate the various contractors. We had a main contractor to do the hacking, tiling, plumbing, plastering, painting and carpentry. We sourced for our own air-con, electrician, glass works (shower screen, glass partition & kitchen backsplash) and window blinds. I hope our journey can give someone else help and tips, like how we learn from this forum.
