  1. That Charcoal stove + 2 alters (Hanging & Seated) + Clothes Rail + 1 door loh... http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/photo/ge...oto.do?id=12486 My Guess: Clothes Rail & The Hanging Alter belongs to resident living on "your left". The seated Alter belongs to the door facing you. Because someone book the wall earlier so they place their charcoal stove to block them? 2 neighbours involved ba.
  2. Spot the picture game mah. Me & wife had a good time guessing...next time khris must tell me your answer ya.
  3. good questions! they could have build all 6 for the whole block. 3 higher floor & 3 lower floor really cmi with the silly automation. blk89 breakdown easily because the lower floor lifts are over-work, especially the retarded bigger lift. some estate lifts could be allocated at different level as stand-by unit, if there're 2 lifts at ground floor, the 2nd lift will automatically go up. We've 6 lifts. If HDB can set 1 ground floor, 1 mid floor & 1 at 40 all time with other 3 to stop randomly, this might help with the nearest lift to be activated to the call button. but then again, some floors do not have all 6 doors. OR Higher floor service lifts - 1 ground floor, 1 at 30th floor & 1 at 40 floor Lower floor service lifts - 1 ground floor, 1 at 10th floor & 1 at 20 floor Hee, how i wish to have a lift at my door-step at all times

  8. Washing bay cost 20cents same water from "FOC" source. Tried before, my red bucket can't even hold the 30secs water-flow. Waste of water resource.
  9. It's better to DIY washing for me. I intent to stop using "FOC" water supply nearby as our MSCP camera is up. Dunno wat's tat for. You can even find them along stairway. The "FOC" water also not clean if I'm not wrong.
  10. Hi all, this is really exciting; if everyone turns up, it will be the biggest Tanglin Halt meetup ever! I think more or less we are fixed on the date, 6 Feb 09, right? Timing-wise, since most are working, I think we can put it at 7pm till late. If you want to come earlier, no problem; my wife and I should be home by 6pm thereabouts. We will be ordering the Mini Buffet A from Meihao, menu as per jule's post earlier, http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?s=...st&p=369310. I believe the budget won't exceed $15/pax even with the yusheng, drinks and all. So appreciate if you guys can transfer $15 to me, and I will return you if there is excess. Dun worry you got my address, I cannot run away! You can transfer to POSB savings account no. 040-28263-7, (use internet banking so you can put a unique name when you do the transfer) and give me a SMS at 81883355 with your name/nick.
