    A google advert search,list up the product as waterproof laminate floors,albeit it's vinyl/resilient flooring still.Have not heard of a waterproof laminate floor before,it's a little bit misleading for netizens point of view.It must due to the popularity of laminate floors I guess but all in all it's still misleading.

    The alternatives to timber is composite/plastic premium decking.Nevertherless,they can quite hot when you step barefooted on it as its bound by elements outdoors and once scratches nothing much can be done about it. Replacement is costly. Timber decks are still the best option coz it can sort out those two issues. With technology now being so high, timber decks also now come with assurances for warranties against termites on it. Google search is one of the best option to find more information.

    Tell that to my acquaintance who had resilent floors installed in her 2 bedrooms,regret 100%.The smell of rubber is so over powering that she is feeling faint and do not dare to switch on her air con.Plus its her kids room.Now tell me which parent who do not love their kids.Its as good as putting poison in the house.Albeit,it came by from an innocent looking floor.Simple?I don't think so.

    What I do know of is the boss is an experienced contractor in the trade,over 20 years.I believe you can't go wrong with him beacause this industry is very volatile.For someone to be able to still be in the trade after over 2 decades says a lot about it.

    Sensa laminate floors?My gauge is you should place your faith in your designer.I doubt he will be so foolish to intro a not quality Germany laminate floor and invite trouble for himself and being not able to collect payment.Regardless of what netizens says,you are not buying history but a floor afterall.As long the floor is backed with the typical standard maufacturers warranties for a floor,there should not be anything that you have to worry about.

    Well said,'everybody have different needs and priorities'.Wood is naturally for wood lovers and for those who can't afford timber floors,laminate floors are the most economical and practical.On the contrary,there are numerous ppl who look at things differently.Tearing and re-renovating their laminate floors is a norm coz looking at the same old floor every decade is so boring.Concepts change every now and then and to have the same old look is too unimaginable for some ppl.its like akin to not painting your walls for the next 2-3 decades.Tiles?It's an omni present since donkey years which everybody knows about.There's a whole stretch of it along Balestier road.Everybody in Spore noes how tiles works,but it's not without it's disadvantages.It's too cold for ppl with rheumatism,slippery and a danger for children and old people.Ever been to hospital,to look at the fall risk case rates especially old ppl.Unsightly groutings?These are all norms which every netizens knows in Spore.But like what's been said,it serves different needs and priorities.The same goes for laminated floors.

    The statistics from www.eplf.com indicate a total sales volume of 460 million sq metres for 2012 world wide just solely for the 21 laminate floor European players in the world,not taking into account the laminate floors produced in China/N.America/Asean yet.That says a lot for the demand for laminate floors.Why?Simple reason,they came form sustainable forests.With wood in short supply and the world ozone layer getting thinner by the day,hollow is the last thing that cross netizens minds.That's the reasoning for the Saving Gaia initivative and Green Label initiatives by the local government.Hollow?we can live with it as long as the earth stays revolving.

    Agreed and disagreed regarding timber floors,whilst netizens allude the warmth and natural feel,timber is expensive.Laminated floors are the cheapest floors in town,good for overlaying,effectively saving cost.For the price of timber installation and resanding plus looking at the same floors for the next 2-3 decades,you could probably change laminated floor colors every 5-7 years at the cost of a timber floor.Laminated floors are for the masses,timber is for the rich,unfortunately.

    People in the industry are mentioning that the company normally employ a lot of newbies with minimum experience or knowledge at all in the industry practice.As a result of their lack of knowledge,hiccups always occur every now and then.Homes are not any experiment.This came about from the very people who have worked there before and left.It's all a matter of luck for us clients.Meet the right one one,thank god.The wrong one,good heavens.A mini version of a jackpot.

    There is only a handful of quality and well known laminate floorings out there sold in the market,100% authentic from Germany,Kronotex,Krono O,Sensa from my google search recently.Getting the right product is essential.Don't fall into cheap imitations made in china laminate foors proposed by some designers.A floor is something that we have to live with for the next decade or two/three probably.Don't lve to regret it.

    Ionwood,sounds good.The top company marketing it out being Supreme Floors,i have heard but the pricing going around is a big shocker,$20 psf.Not for th common people I guess,more for the noveau rich.You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know about the dangers of polyvinyl chloride,the component for pvc/vinyl/resilient floors whatever they want to call it.Just google/yahoo/bing it's all over the place.Information on hand at the click of the mouse are all aplenty.

    Did a research on google and discovered all of the resilient floorings available from the market are all from China/Korean.None is from Germany/Europe as falsely claimed by some flooring vendors.Probably,as consumers we felt aggrieved when be told otherwise.A bit misleading,sadly.
