How big is the balcony? I have the same type of balcony (around 8sq metres) for my yet-to-be-completed condo. Our thoughts are to convert the place into a alfresco dining area. I live in a Cluster house, thinking of doing some simple renovation to make way for a bedroom. I have some questions in mind. To do that, I will need to box up the rear patio and partition up half the dining room. Is it legal to do so?Once the kitchen is moved out, the place will be converted to a bedroom. My living room is currently lighted by 8 sets of 11W Warm white CFL E27 light. However, I find the yellow color emitted by the bulb is too harsh and yellowish. I tried another 8 sets of daylight CFL. The result is that it is too whitish. I think i will prefer anything that's between warm white (2700k) and daylight (6500k). I noticed that from the Philips and Osram online catalogue that there are soft white (840 or 4000k) bulbs available. I inquire everywhere for them but none of the stores carry them. Does anyone knows where I can get these lamps?

Basically, the PIR sensor cuts off the power to the lamp. When it senses movement, it will "allow" power to go to the lamp thereby activating it. Can't remember the shop's name. Its one of the bigger corner shop at the basement. You can identify it by the many LED flashing lights. I'm planning to get 2 more units from him.
