Looking For A Reliable & 'worth-It' Renovation Budget
helpseeker13 replied to bessie's topic in Renovation Packages
Hi Bessie, My 3rm flat had gone through major reno recently. I am a satisfied with the service and professionalism of my ID. Most of all, the outcome of what I paid. I will send you the contact if you are keen. There's no harm in trying anyway. Good luck to your planned reno. Cheers -
Hi od00bo, Personal opinion, its very expensive considering that bathroom accessories and all lighting points and accessories are not included. My currently renovating 3 room flat has a falls ceiling and has a total of 18 lighting points. Each lighting points, power points (double/single) and etc plus the accessories you need to buy will be an additional cost which will be added to you $48K.From my experience and feedback from friends renovating recently, it cost about $35K to $42K inclusive (electrical/bathroom acc) for 4 rm flat. I had PM you my ID for you to consider. Cheers.

Im in the process and close to completion of my 3rm flat total reno. ID/Contractor quoted me around the same amount for total reno inclusive of electrical and bathroom accessories. Just to share with you that when you discuss with your ID and quoted you for inclusive of electrical wirings and accessories + bathroom accessories, you need to be aware how many lighting points, power plugs (double/single) , tv, tel points you need and how many is indicated in the quotation. The same with the bathroom accessories, you also need to know what type/brand they are going to install. Otherwise you can buy your own bathroom accessories to get control of the quality and pricing. For my electrical, it was included of 9 lighting points, 5 double socket, 3 single sockets, 2 tv, 2 telephone, 2 heater points,1 a/c pt. Adding more of this will cost about $50 to $80 each. Satisfied with my ID so far and completion is targeted next week. Good luck to all of us renovating. cheers!

Hi ad00bo, Find out more id and quotations. There are lot of contractors/ids for you to choose but Its just need more time. I would suggest the you meet up those ID's recommended by someone and you choose from there. I am currently in renovation process of my 3rm flat. Price wise is reasonable but the good thing, the ID is responsible/reliable with positive attitude and professional is dealing with us. I had been into the 2 weeks of the reno process and he is constantly updating us the progress. You may want to give a try meeting up with my ID. Just sharing... Good luck to us renovating!

Hi Dee, Just sharing my thoughts. I am currently in progress of renovation to my 3rm flat. 15K to 20K was our initial budget and it actually increase as we increase our demand of which area to change. In the end, we decided to renovate everything (total reno) at cost us more than 30K. Bottom line, it is all depends on your budget and what you want to do. Stick to your plan and budget. Good luck!

Hi, I am currently in the progress of doing renovation of my 3 rm flat. I engaged with ID/Contractor named Absolook Interior Design PTE Ltd with ID Aaron Poh. I had been reading and searching for various ID's since May 2013. I shortlisted 3 of them and finally engaged with Aaron. Only 3 factors I considered when I chose ID. 1) Attitude/ Response 2.) Design ideas 3.) Cost. I would say I found these criteria to my current ID. The ID has the positive attitude with good vibes (also smile) is very responsible, organize and professional in dealing us. Always make follow up on the progress (even before the work start). This is all i can share. I hope this sharing is never been too late. I will PM you the contact if you are still keen. Thanks

You should not pay both, otherwise the agent is violating CEA's dual representation code. Please check CEA website if you want to find out more. http://www.cea.gov.sg/cea/content/resources_faq/faqInfo.html#lnkG
