Your choice of laminate is very similar to mine and it would also be identical if my cabinet top is also white in colour. Hahaha! Great choice!

Wow! Your 3D drawings look impressive! However, it's pretty similar to my case where the ID didn't put in enough effort to make sure that the 3D drawings resemble something of the final product. My first 3D drawing of the living hall was totally incorrect (I'm glad that the 3D drawing for my kitchen was excellent) and even after I corrected the ID with the right details, the second 3D drawing is still incorrect but I did not bother much since the renovation is already at the halfway mark. Well, ask your ID to redo them and give you a proper one.

No no no... jus4fun, you are wrong . beng 妈 failed in her monitoring duties this time round. The replacement chandelier has yet to be fixed up on the ceiling after sooooo many days. Gotta call my mom to ask her if she's gonna continue pestering the ID or pass the baton back to me so that I can continue my loanshark-style harassment on my ID till he fixed that up. Hahaha! Anyway I'm waiting for this to be fixed up, retrieved my DSLR camera from the boxes and snapped photos all around the house before posting some updates here. Stay tuned peeps.....

Hahaha... Everyone who read through my T-blog will experience some sort of heartache & trauma looking at the broken chandelier. I guess the one having the most heartache will be either my ID or the electrician boss because they are going to compensate me on that. LOL!

Ya, my ID very poor thing. Guess he must have offended quite a few Gods to suffer such tragic fate of meeting a bad luck customer like me. Wah! Most of the items are bought? Guess your pockets are bleeding as fast as my ID's pockets. Haha! But well, since this is the first home, it's totally worth every single cent spent.

Not exactly sure what's going on because my mom has been the one liaising with him. As of today, it's still not replaced. Guess I will give him a call later to find out what's going on. Anyway how's everything? Managed to move into your new house and unpack all the boxes? It's a tiring job but at the end of the day when you see everything in order in your new place, you will smile broadly and think it's worth the effort and wait.

Wow! You are really getting on hands on lots of purchases this week, guess your wallet is crying for help! Hahaha! Anyway for the Nescafe Dolce Gusto, my advice is don't get this model at all . The reason is that my office also have this coffee maker but apparently it's difficult to brew a proper cup of aromatic coffee. Need a lot of personal judgment on the liquid flow as this machine do not automatically stop the "liquid flow" once the right mixture of coffee+milk+water is reached. Hahaha.. It's your choice but think twice before buying.

Ya! So much drama till I can sell my renovation script to MediaCorp, I'm pretty sure it will be a blockbuster drama! Hahaha! Yeah my ID is taking responsibility for my losses. Come to think of it, he's quite a nice chap and really 'suay' to take over this job. Not sure if he is still managed to make any commission from this project. LOL!

Hey fun fun! Hahaha! My ID had just came over yesterday to replace the damaged tile due to the fallen chandelier. As for the replacement, he had once again delayed it to Wednesday because the electrician says he need to wait for the new chandelier order to arrive. Well, gotta check again tomorrow. Anyway with my mom now in charge of the "after-renovation inspection", I guess everything should be fine. Otherwise, she will call & pester the ID again. Hahaha! Shall update again when the new replacement is here.

Lol! Thanks for the condolences, I have already buried that chandelier into a carton box and gave it to the electrician.

OMG! Is that me? Everyone heard my fragile shattering heart that day! Anyway installing a chandelier is okay but I think the electrician must take extra precaution that there is sufficient support for the weight of the chandelier. Tell your hubby don't worry.
