no offense to any readers in this thread. I believe leonjennawong should delete any forummers who are actually requesting for quotations in this topic, and to inform all to rather pm leonjennawong personally about the quotations so as it's fair to those who are actually following up with his reno. Thanks.

the way i see about K's reputation. I think is overkill. From some of the reno member, his work is only above average and charged abit high. Still there are some of touch-ups that cant be rectified unless you choose to close an eye about it.

Kana regret for the impulse move on selecting hdb tiles. Will definitely hack and relay wood flooring. So roughly estimate total damage roughly 80k for everything. Bo bian must do one time nice nice cause got 2 kids plus wife plus elderly parents moving in so I'm still in the dilemma.

Something to share. Accoya wood is a premium product if u are interested. I am looking into acoustic treatment so maybe i setting aside 5 to 8k for treatment and 15 k for sound system, 50 to 60k for the whole reno plus lighting without furniture but I am still doing my maths to see whether worth a not.

Is either it's too good of a deal or.. ultimately the workmanship.. I am also looking under the range of 36k for your unit. The only thing I can think of is the quality of the.materials. I don't mean to pour cold water but it's best to see things at all directions. If contractor wise, is indeed a top class if he can perform the results. But for Id wise, 36k is like...u know now. But tt how I feel.

Hi, I saw your reno blog...i was wondering how much does it cost to do wood flooring for your whole flat? I am intending to do solid wood flooring for my whole 5 room flat, excluding kitchen and toilets. Sad part is that i took the hdb tiles on the impulse move due to parents wanting to get the whole flat up asap. Now have to spend money to hack it and relay all to wood flooring.

Bto Optional Component Scheme
æ´ª é“励 replied to graykitchen's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
If you want to move in, you just want a unit to stay and dont wan to go through the hassle of tedious reno, getting OCS scheme is the best, followed by buying ikea furniture...Getting OCS is good as if there's problem you know who to look for. But if you are the adventureous type like me and the rest who wants to make sure your flat is good as heaven, it's all p to you. I have come across ppl who are practical and some who really wants the heaven-like home once they finished their work and go home to rest. -
Bto Optional Component Scheme
æ´ª é“励 replied to graykitchen's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
Actually it all depends on indiviual. If you really have the capital and does not need to move in once ya get your keys...by all means engage ID/contractor to do up your new flat nicely. As for my case, i kinda regret getting OCS but will have to see the actual layout of it before i decide what to do next. -
My Humble Abode
æ´ª é“励 replied to lawrenceke's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat - HDB BTO Interior Design and Renovation
I seriously cant believe that t5 cannot out-perform led lightings.. but based according to your picture it seems that it's true. that's such a big difference between installing t5 lighting in your bathroom before and after installing Led lightings. -
anyway mine is still kinda early to say but roughly what are the main things will be doing. Will revamp the service yard, hack off the wall between it and make the kitchen looks longer. doing the partition between the main door to the living room or creating a room for the living room for my entertainment...

Hi how much do u spend for your FSM?

Well this is my floor plan. @ bb. Skyline 1.

Well i have a fair amount $ to reno my new flat. I did opt for the new hdb tiles. I dont really want to waste additional $ on tiles but really have to see the actual layout when i collect my keys. Till now, i still s Now sourcing for items which easily add up to more than the reno cost itself. I am still doing my homework and research on what are the items are i want. Dint expect ill be juggling alot of things. Come to think of it. Will be taking one step @ a time.

Actually my parents kinda pyscho me to opt for the hdb tiles....****. kinda regret right now. Anyway, once i get my keys. I just view the actual scene before i decide what to do next. Anyway, i am going to hack down the wall between the kitchen and service yard, do the levelling so as to make the kitchen look bigger. Install windows and grille for all winodows. Getting windowcool to do the shades too. We see how the flooring look likes first. I was comtemplated cause my dad keeps telling me that main door once open cannot face directly to the window. Not good. well it's his old saying and my parents are staying over once i get the keys. I have seen so many designs by the forummers. Some of the designs i like, but i guess i will be installing craft bricks for my living room. XD
