I put in my order about 3 weeks ago and it's taking a while to ship the item to Peeka's china warehouse. I believe the items are made to order. Gonna see the quality of these two items before I decide on buying more from furniture from taobao. Peeka's air shipping cost is pretty high - they take the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight. If you buy large items then volumetric weight will surely be larger. I have been addicted to tb over the past few nights because of a new search term for home decor stuff - Zakka So much stuff to go through, including vintage-y looking boxes, storage, mugs/cups, kitchen accessories. Colleagues have remarked that I look very tired over the past few mornings heh

Gotta hack the wall to expose the gas pipe Weld the defect Plaster the wall - which is a problem because the wall will look different as it's cement finish And another problem is where to mount the hood! Might have to shift left or right of the original position

I think I jinx myself saying everything ok Just got call from main con. Apparently the gas people detected a leak and it is due to a screw used to mount the hood. I wanna cry.

Hey Redder, More or less done already. The place was cleaned yesterday - was reasonably well done so less cleaning effort on my part Installation for bathroom mirror, curtains on Thurs. Bedframe, mattress and sofa set delivery on Friday. TV on Monday. Next shipment of taobao stuff probably in 3 weeks. Can't wait! Notwithstanding the bill from main-con heh

Update pics on faucets and sinks from taobao. All installations by plumber went without a hitch. Kitchen mixer faucet with Selena sink. Really pleased with this buy. The height of the kitchen mixer is a whooping 70cm and gives a solid look Closer view of the sink. Rainshower. Water pressure is really strong in my apartment thankfully. Really like the knobs. No odd thingy to pull/push in order to change which shower head the water flows out from. Also has in-built mechanism to vary the mixing of hot and cool water to vary the temperature. Sink and faucet from tb. Was hard to find an undermount sink these days since everyone going for top mount. I chose the faucet because it had an old-school industry look but in polished chrome.

Hi blackpeace I am not familiar with Krono Decoria so have no opinion on their product. If your ID is quoting you $7 psf (before GST) for HERF, I would go direct to Evorich and try to get $6 psf (before GST) If your ID is not willing to coordinate the installation for you, not to worry, it is very straightforward since I did this myself. Just ask your ID which stage should HERF flooring be installed, and then discuss with Evorich that is indeed an appropriate timing. You should have some knowledge of the reno activities that are happening before and after the HERF installation, in order to have meaningful discussion about installation date with Evorich. Then lock in a date and let ID know. FYI, it takes between 1-2 working days to install HERF.
