How To Increase Success Rate For Reno Loan?
segar2b replied to segar2b's topic in Finance and Insurance
Dear @bepgof "Higher risk FI takers. Higher risk higher return." So meaning, go find a FI that has a higher interest rate? Or go for lower bank loan so as to pay higher interest? -
Thanks renojoy! That is exactly what i've been looking for. Will check them out at their office soon. Super love the wood effect on kitchen top!

Hi! Husband applied reno loan with CIMB bank and was rejected. Banker said rejected reason - unknown. We've never taken up any loans before so we wonder why it was rejected. Is it normal for bankers to not tell us the reason of rejection? Now we want to proceed with RHB but i have this fear at the back of my mind if loan gets rejected again. How to increase success rate for reno loan? Any of you ever in my shoes? Rejected by 1st bank, and successful with 2nd bank? Do we need a guarentor? Husband is the sole aplicant. TIA

Hi! Visited a reno company (car*******.sg) at Eunos last weekend and was introduced to their latest kitchen top option- a wood like material that is scratch proof and heat resistant. Price wise is almost same price as granite. But i forgot to make a mental note on the name of this product! Its so pretty i've been thinking about it for days! Anyone came across this material before?

Krono Original Laminate Flooring
segar2b replied to khengjoo's topic in Ceiling, Walls and Flooring Works
Hi All, I'm new here and doing a research on Krono Original. Yes I've also heard the change of the distributor. I wonder why? Has there been any problems faced by those tho gets their laminated flooring fixed by this company? Late last year, I went down to Expo and was greeted by a salesperson selling Krono product and i noticed the name of the company who carried this brand has changed. The salesperson told me there's been some problem with the previous distributor's storage (the way they store their flooring), and some complaints are heard, hence the license for distributing the goods are now given to another company. How true is this? I've made a deposit of $200 for the flooring to be done at my new BTO flat. $200 is not a big sum comparing the full amount i will have to pay once it's installed. So I'm really worried if I should just go ahead with that old distributor or should I just forego my $200 and go with the new distributor? PS: Last week, a lady from the old distributor called me to inform that the malay guy who served us when we paid our deposit is no longer working for them. Makes me even 'loose heart' at continuing with them. -
Hi PoppyLove, how's krono original workmanship? I heard they had a change of distributor late 2012. I wonder why.
