I call them and they told me will call me back but no phonecall and then i must go down personally and settle it. While I was there got 2 more couples trying to exchange stuff loh. Ha..okies..can come visit us on Sat.

ya loh..no choice leh. even if i told them Sat come collect cos we'll be waiting for our fridge and washing machine..i still have to go back next week when they come send back the lamp. Downlights and other smaller lights can bring down and get it changed and checked on the spot, the floor lamp is quite tall loh so abit troublesome.

they said they would be going down tomorrow to take the lamp back to change the cable and faulty switch..but they cannot confirm with me a time loh..so when they call tomorrow ill have to go down within an hr or so to open the door for them. hmm..not really that urgently but would be nice to have loh. we really like that lamp!

ya you're right too. actually it's quite difficult to check upon delivery..everything is in a mess. the delivery man would have to wait if you've got an outstanding amount to pay. hehe. Hope there won't be problem with the rest of you guys lights.

i went back all the way this morning to ask for an exchange loh..luckily the uncle who attended to me was quite alright. he wasn't obliging but ok lah..he say he would try to get it down for us. so now he has to come our place to take back the lamp and change the cable and faulty switch as they do no have stock of the lamp liao. and for the short time i was there..there was another couple trying to exchange stuff as it didn't work!! all he did was say "aiya..headache ah headache ah..can't change..can choose something else?" oh well..i just want my lamp back nice and working. !!

the salesman didn't call me back today loh..the lady who picked up my call even ask me to bring down the lamp! i told her it's a huge floor lamp..how you want me to bring down? anyway i going down tomorrow to make some noise.

Just some updates : Reno is almost completed. Left a kitchen drawer that we decided to change to blum system last minute, dining area lights to install and some switches to change and of course some paint touch up and cleaning cleaning cleaning! Some furniture were delivered last sat. 1. Mattress, pillows and bed protector 2. Daybed 3. Tv console 4. PC tables 5. Dining table + Chairs 6. Bar Stools 7. 5 drawer chest Spent almost the entire weekend cleaning and cleaning. Now super tired liao. Who want to help us clean this weekend? Hehe. So sad..found some stains on our kitchen sink..so difficult to remove. And also our nice floor lamp isn't working and the cable colour is not what we wanted!

hmm..i think for my place there's no need to drill already..the pipe is just below the hob in the cabinet. they jus need to connect it and maybe turn on the supply. heh.
