Yucks. I can't stand dirty toilet bowls. If it doesn't flush well, it falls on the person cleaning it to scrub the remnants off. It's a horrible experience. That's why the flushing power is very vital. I was looking at some Toto bowls though. I heard their tornado flushing system is very effective.

Can you share a picture of your toilet bowl? Sounds so weird. Lol. How did you manage to get the approval from HDB to change the toilet bowl? I heard this is not allowed for BTO HDBs for the first 3 years.

Continuing on from the previous post... 4) Fuse Concept First impression was good. The showroom was rather spacious and has touches of subtle designing. The designer i had was good initially. He seemed rather enthusiastic and motivated. However, it all went downhill after he went away for his reservist for weeks. When he came back, I contacted him asking for my proposal and quotation. Three SMS were sent and none was replied to. Thinking he was busy with the backlog from the three week absence, i cut him some slack and waited. For several days, still no reply from him. As ridiculous as it may sound, as the consumer, I actually called him first. Both calls got cut off and not a word or sms of apology. I can understand if you are not ready or what, but as the consumer, I cannot accept rudeness and poor service from the designer. If at this stage, before contracting, I can't even trust you to follow up on your calls despite my having taken the initiative to do, I am not sure if I can trust you with my future home and $50,000. So, till today, no replies from him at all. So, rather disappointed with the attitude. Will continue on with the rest of the IDs later.

Hi, Would the owners of new BTO flats please confirm this for me please? I see some people saying that they have the LAN points in the utility box next to the main door in the flat and that there would be a string for you to pull your LAN cable to the entire house? This would make concealed LAN ports possible in the whole house? Yet, I see contractors saying they are able to convert telephone points into LAN points? So which is which? Also, some people say some BTO projects are on trial for the LAN cable thingey. It's very confusing...

I am definitely comfortable with iKea products. The only problem I have with them is that the cabinets are not customizeable. So, if the measurements are off, they would just cover it up with a board. What a waste of money and how ugly would it be!

Nope. Quartz is more expensive than granite. I'm talking about established brands like caesarstone or silestone that is.
