I think it depends what type you are looking for. Premium products or will products with no brand will be ok for you. I think the branded premium products are quite highly priced in Singapore. It may be worth looking to get those from the manufacturers origin country. If you say what type of brands you are looking for I may can provide you some more info as well.

I would recommend going running and doing push ups and if possible also chin ups. You don't need to start with intense training. Most important would be to do it consistently.
