Got a flyer from Town Council saying of many complaints of dripping mops and clothes as well as wahing of windows. Moving in officially this weekend, is it really that bad? Btw, looks like the feedback to Town Council is quite effective, they are washing the blocks again today. In the first place, HDB flats are not meant to be money-making tools.

Is HDB a privatised organisation? I tot they were only being coporatised? Or is coporatised = privatised? Perhaps HDB would like to revisit its role and vission and mission since it has become so "profit driven".

Molecule has a clock in the shape of cuckoo clock. Not a cuckoo clock, just the shape only. The one I saw was Orange in colour. Quite nice.

Oh ya, the new Police advert on tv was filmed on the running track across our blocks. Can see our blocks and commonwealth mrt in the background. Nice advert btw. I also have this avatar.

They are expensive. Majority european tiles as compared to the tile shops along Balestier, majority china tiles.

The shop at Marina Square selling this clock is East Zing, on #03. We got ours from them at $179. There is also a shop selling this clock at AMK Hub, #02 I think. The one at Molecule is diff from the pic.

But CNY not much fireworks. Usually at the River Hong Bao and only for a few minutes.

If i understand you correctly, You want the ID to design for you, provide drawings, you find your own contractors and the ID to coordinate all the work. Not sure if IDs would like to coordinate with external contractors. 1 or 2 maybe ok, but if all are external contractors, dun think most would want to do that. IDs usually have their own contractors.

Haiz, in this time and age, still got to be bothered by such things. House and reno already so ex, plus wedding dinner and other miscellaneous expenses, already buay ta han. Add this ping jin and ping li thing, lagi jia lat.

There was one other housing estate with caterpillar problem. Hmm... could this be an omen of things to come? You know lah, insects and animals exihibiting certain strange behaviour before things happen... or mayb I watch too much nat geo and discovery channel liao...

At the traffic light junction crossing (used to be zebra crossing) in front of Queensway Shopping Centre, turning left from Alexandra Rd towards Farrer Road direction, traffic light was green. FW was turning left on the right lane when an uncle suddenly appear from in front of a van (stopped and waiting to turn left) on the left lane. Not sure whether we hit him but he sprawled on the bonnet, quickly get up, apologised to us and walked on. Really scared the **** out of us .

Like the butterfly series but find that it is too ex for rubbish bin. May just get the cheapest model at $50+.

HD or HD Ready, personally would go for plasma over LCD.
