Found this shop at Eunos Technolink, cannot remember the name of the shop but its right at one end. I think the dimenion is 1m X 2.4m, selling at $99, various colour. -
Personally, prefer granite and ceramic sink. My current home is now using a granite sink for 7 seven years liao, still look as good as new. SS sink will have a lot of scratches after a while, unless you get those scratch proof type, which is more ex. Btw, anybody heard of this brand Rhoyxon. They carry hood, hob, sinks (brand is Foster), taps etc. Saw this shop selling this brand when I was in Changi Road one week ago. They staff told me that this brand is from Italy and ahs been Singapore for 30 years.

Renovation Con-men

Not sure also, but if other forumners are openly discussing abt their ID firms and individual IDs, I dun see why we cannot shame a conman openly to warn others. -
Consider AIR, Massimo and Castilla Premium if budget allows. For me, I will be cutting down on reno cost to get few pieces of furnitures from above.

Fine print in the advert on paper *Simply guess the first number of the 1st prize for 4D draw (Wednesday) and stand to win a 50% refund via Audio House Voucher! So it is not a 50% discount as advertised. -

For us, we started looking around and talked to ID since Nov last year (at that time, we roughly know that we will be getting our keys in 2/3Q 2007. Most of the ID firm we spoke did not get back to us but we did learnt a lot abt reno stuff, terms used in this industry, reno materials etc just by talking to them. Most of our weekends were spent visiting furniture shops/co, curtains shop, electronics shop, lights shop, bathroom and kitchen shops etc etc. There are so many things to see and learn. It was an enriching experience and I can say that today I know and understand more about reno stuff than I was 6 months ago. When talking to ID, choosing floor tiles etc, at least I will not be "smoked" so easily, especially now that I will be getting my keys soon. Visit also government websites such as HDB, CPF, etc to learn more about the policies and regulations relating to buying new house. It was only recently that I start getting quotes from ID and we should be making a decision soon. Start early, go around, talk to people. I also did not realise that there are so many things to learn and I am still discovering a lot of new things everyday. Enjoy your reno journey!

Yep, it is from AIR 160 x 90 cm is about $2.2K, 140 x 90 cm is about $2.1K. Have not place order as still in the process of confirming my layout and ID. But have bought 4 of this dining chair from AIR.

Not yet not yet, most probably getting keys in June. No rush, still deciding on ID. -
Sorry, this is a bit confusing for me . So if my ID quoted me $750 for haulage, do I still need to pay this "appointed contractor" any haulage fee? Will not pay my ID if I still have to pay this "appointed contractor" additional haulage fee. But I assumed I would still need to pay the $xxx amt for the Govt Haulage Fee?

Hi Mr Chong I read somewhere that it is not good to place the bedhead against the wall under windows. However, we really like the bed but are constraints by the width of our small bedroom and would like to place the bed in this way. Is it really no good in fengshui? Is there anything I can do to counter or lessen the "harmful effects"? The window direction is facing southerly. Tks.

Ya, I think you are right. As quoted from the above link: "Note: HDB does not charge any fee for the processing of the permit. The renovation permit will be issued to you, the flat owner, and you are required to keep this permit." Btw, what is this"Renovation Deposit"? Will it be refunded back to you on completion of your reno? zirhk3355, is this the item that HDB is charging you?
