Thinking of installing one also cos my new place already come with hot/cold water pipe all built-in and both bathrooms are also installed with the mixer. So instead of letting all these go to waste, now thinking of whether to get the free Citygas gas heater instead of electricity type. Was using gas heater when I was staying overseas for a while. Initial cannot get use to it cos when switched on, got the "pong" sound which I tot was a bit scary and "unsafe". Also, must remember to switch off when not in use and especially when no one is home, something that I was quite careless when I started using it.

They have it at Thomson Plaza Homefix also. Saw this a few months back and ask about it here but nobody seems to have installed. Looks like this product is starting to attract some attention. Was at Kitchen Habits and Hugo Kitchens at Millenia Walk to get ideas for my kitchen and all their kitchens were installed with this Eubiq system. Thinking of getting for kitchen and living room (TV console area).

Hi Mr Chong, I have indicated the compass direction in the kitchen floorplan as above. Anyway, attached the floorplan of my whole house with compass direction So it is ok to even place the hob directly over the drainage hole? Pardon me but what do you mean by "Just make sure your in/out water point is not beside generally"?

Finally got my keys and love the view from my MBR. What about kitchen floor tiles? Any problem to hack and relay? When I collect keys, only signed the letter of undertaking not to remove toilet wall and tiles, no mention of kitchen wall and tiles. I assume kitchen no restriction, just need the proper approval? -
Hi Mr Chong, Would like to check is it ok to place the hob at or near the location mark "A"? At "A", there are 2 outlet pipes which my ID told me is for the kitchen sink and WM. Was advised that it is not appropriate to place the hob at or near location "A" as hob symbolise wealth and placing it at "A" would be like "money going down the drain".

Can Sell Flat After 3yrs?
TYM replied to gingerbelle's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
My friend was upgrading to landed. The reasons they gave to HDB was that their flat was becoming too small for the family. They have 2 maids, 2 kids, and 2 big labrador dogs (dun ask me how they managed to keep 2 big dogs in HDB in the first place). On top of that, they joined 2 bedrooms into one big MBR during reno, so there is lack of rooms for the kids. They wanted to grow the family also (in line with government policy). Most importantly, they have paid for the flat in full. -
Can Install Ceiling Fan On False Ceiling That Has No Bone Inside?
TYM replied to EkEk's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Definitely not! My potential ID told me that even to install chandelier on false ceiling, a wooden/metal support (bone) is needed so that the chandelier is secured to this bone and not the false ceiling. So a ceiling fan with its constant turning motion will definitely not hold on just the false ceiling. I would not want to be sitting below this ceiling fan. -
