Hi Mace, you got your White Silver model for $800+, stainless steel model $100 more at Everjoint? Went to Everjoint last sun but it was not open. Goh Ah Bee quoted me $1000 for the stainless steel model and $910 for the White Silver model.

Yup yup! There is this lady call May at their Bukit Merah showroom, very friendly and patience. Went there 4-5 times and check with her on a lot of things before finally buying from her.

Riding on this thread... Just bought a plasma tv today and intend to mount it on the wall and not spend money to build any feature wall. Any ideas to conceal the cables from the TV to the DVD player/SCV set top box other than painting, using speakers/photo frames to cover? Have not discuss with my ID yet but was thinking of something below: Is this possible/feasible? Can hack the wall in this manner? Will it contravene any HDB rules?

Pity those that got con. Getting a new house is supposed to be a joyous occasion and the renovation journey is something to look forward to. The report should carry more details like the name of the company, name of the swindle couples or maybe photos to prevent more people from getting con. !!

Got mine for $3.8 psf. I think the european tiles are on the 1st floor of hafary, mine was displayed there. My ID was the one who recommended. Went to the other shop (dun know what is the name) at the opposite end of the row of tile shophouses, they also do not have much selection of european tiles, mostly china tiles. Tile shops in Balestier carry more china tiles than europe tiles.

Nice place! We having the same clock, but my casing is white. And nearly the same sofa. The red carpet look really nice with your furnitures, else just black and white a bit bland.

Very difficult to read the "bean sprouts" words on the screen.

Was at Hafary yes'd to choose tiles and got the 450x450 spain matt homo tiles. But out of stock, got to order. China tile and spain tiles same price psf? I tot european tiles are usually more ex. When I was at Hafary, did not see any europe tiles below $3.5 psf. Mayb did not look hard and wide enough. Stiles at Changi South have a wide selection of matt europe tiles. Very nice and good feel, but their price on the high side. My ID told china tiles edges are very sharp (90 degrees) as compared to european tiles (slight chaffered). So if you are using China tiles and your tilers workmanship no good, you can feel the sharp edges instantly if the tiles are not laid evenly.

Agree these were associated with Sheng Siong products in their early days. But they have since improved. Anyway, its always good to have a supermart for our convenience.
