The chicken rice at Margaret Drive also nice. Used to have it almost every week last time when staying at Tanglin Halt "16 storey". Heard they have shifted to Stirling Road but dun know exactly where. Anyone know?

Oh is it, i tot the halal chicken rice was not bad. No wonder I saw a banner saying new chicken rice stall opened in the coffeeshop. The other chicken rice stall in the very old coffeeshop (next to the ID, i think is Homemaker) also quite nice.

Frankly, it is quite difficult to put down everything in black and white. There are so many things that needs to be decided like materials, size, colour, etc, which I am sure won't be decided yet when you sign the contract. Sometimes, you need to work on certain level of trust. Even my quotations were quite broadly written down, although I did insist on some details for certain items. It is really up to your comfort level with your ID/contractor. For me, my ID has been quite flexible and accomodating.

There are a lot better and cheaper IDs around. Dun know why their bosses were honoured as Entreprenuer of the Year 2007.

Try latching only the top hole of your windows and push it. Is it more secure latching only the top hole or latching both top and bottom holes? Its the same for the door and gate. Anyway, I will still insist on both top and bottom holes. Why make it easier for the thieves?

Have not move in but already can see rust stains and spots on the HDB shower spray in my common bathroom, seems like quality not so good. Possible to get a replacement from HDB/Building Service Centre?

With both top and bottom holes, the gates and door will be more secure. Else it will be easier to pry open.

I always believe that marriage is not just between 2 individuals. Like it or not, it is between 2 families (sometimes extending to relatives on both sides). No point straining all relationships bcos of reno, should be able to work out a compromise.

Food was in buffet style and the spread was good. Layout was nice. They had tables and chairs set up as in a normal 10-course dinner, with games and songs, so all in all quite fun. Not hot cos held in the evening.

A friend had his wedding on the beach (siloso beach right?) in front of Rasa Sentosa. Held in the evening, beach wear/bermudas/sandals, military march in. Quite romantic. Lucky no rain, else jia lat.

We did that too. Luckily my uncle stay next door, so no complain.
